★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very pretty little oasis of silence on the busy Singapore Island. It has a nice abstract statue of a dancing woman and a beautiful mosaic of the same, which looks very pretty to the background of 1940s houses and recently (2018) finished new high-rise appartment buildings.
In general, the area is worth a visit, as it gives you a grasp of Singapore history on the first half of the 20th century.
