โ โ โ โ โ Came here for breakfast with a gf. This shop is like a scene frozen in the 70โs. With old school marble tables, and chairs to match.
The noodles texture are good and we like the taste of the fish ball.
Only downside was I didnโt enjoy the black coffee they served.

โ โ โ โ โ One of those very old school kopitiams that are becoming extremely rare in Singapore. It serves fishball noodles and the usual fare such as coffee and toast. The food was so-so but Iโll return for the vibe.

โ โ โ โ โ Old school. Average and overrated. Noodles are springy but if you prefer a more vinegary and lardy taste, this may not be to your liking. Place doesn't have many seats and you will feel compelled to rush and eat. Menu wasn't clearly displayed and you need to know what you want to order when the staff ask you.

โ โ โ โ โ Love the nostalgic settings.
Ordering was at counter, but after crowd come in auntie say wait, she will come to you take order when ready. The mince pork fishball soup came with bitter gourd and is light tasting. The bread is thick and good. And you get a local crowd.
Rare golden find in a neighbourhood prone to refresh and refurbish. Always felt that most heritage places are ็ฉๆฏไบบ้, this place retains originality in people, function, atmosphere and spirit.

โ โ โ โ โ Deliciously nostalgic. Famous location for 1995 film Mee Pok Man. Noodles were fantastic. This place transforms into a hidden teriyaki joint in the evenings. Coffee also served. Old style marble topped tables. Wooden chairs.

โ โ โ โ โ Very old school kopitiam. Very nice fishball noodle. Love the noodle, the chilli, the fish dumpling (he-kiow) and the soup!
Two interesting aunties operating the coffee shop will command you around but they are really nice ladies. You'll be surprise, there is table service! Place your order and kopi, noodle will be served. ( not sure if this is only during COVID-19 period).
Kopi-o is nice. The kaya roti looks good, will try the next time.
And do you know, this kopitiam becomes the location of "Bincho" restaurant, an atas makan place that charges premium rate!

โ โ โ โ โ The main highlight was the soup for sure. Very light and flavourful. I finished the whole bowl. Fishball was bouncy and the mince meat was really tender. However I found the noodles underwhelming. Too mushy for me and lacking flavour.

โ โ โ โ โ Mee keng good, not the best experience to have spicy thing for breakfast but it wont hurt you.
Another ahthentic place to enjoy a slow morning in singapore. Toilet unknown. The dish is not so big and at a cheap price so you will not have a heavy load on you to start off the day. Would recommend go in a group less than 5 as the place is relatively small.
