The service standard has dropped, on the 8th January with a family of 3 dine-in the Seoul garden hotpot. The staff serve a side dish for us and is quite little. Hence, I requested. Told one of the male staff that serving food for an additional 1 plate and was told to wait (eventually forgotten, maybe due to busy), a guy from the cashier serving drink to us. Thus, I requested from him, the staff told me to inform his colleagues as he is not handling and walk away (is it seoul garden staffs? Got different task? Ask the customer to go find particular staff to request?) All the staff seem like pretending doing stuff that doesn’t have eye contact with customers. In the end, when serving food I requested again. The side dish came after we had nearly finished the main dish. Moreover; (staff bring back our plate to fill the side dish, bear in mind if the customer got covid you bring the used plate back to filling). Food standard; order an army stew (fire burning for 5min and off) and ginseng chicken (totally no fire at all, the food was rather warm than hot). Seem like it is cost-cutting, if that is the case please don’t call it as hotpot.

Food was good. We ordered a salmon bibimbap, spicy chicken, kimchi hotpot and beef. Service was good. Used some vouchers so we paid a much lower price than usual. Ordering done through iPad. The seaweed rice was very delicious!

I have been their fan since many years ago. They really improve their menu every single year. It just gets better and better. Now they have included several new menu and it is just so delicious. Super recommend. Staff that i visited today at 6pm were super friendly, kind and great manners.

Noticed that the mixed brown rice had alot more white rice than brown rice nowadays as compared to when I first started patronising them. Was disappointed as I choose Seoul garden over other Korean restaurants because of the (mixed) brown rice option. Today left me utterly disappointed as hair was found in the hotpot soup, and when I informed the staff, she did not apologise or say anything but just took away the soup and replaced a new one. As I ordered seafood kimchi dubu, the main ingredients were 2 prawns and some clams. But both prawns served in the soup were not fresh at all, worse than frozen prawns. I was not very particular about prawns but the ones served to me was super mushy and it sticks to the shell like crazy. When I feedback to the manager, there was no apologies or explanations but just a mere "very mushy? OK ltr I check with the kitchen." I then had to wait for another 15minutes for my food to arrive and I had to rush to finish my food as I was dining there during my lunch hour. I will think twice about dining with Seoul garden or even if I do, I might never order the hotpot again. However, would like to say that the hotplate chicken was pretty yummy and to my liking.

First, let me say the hot pot we had was good as expected. Now for the reason why 1 star. My wife and I are spending the week celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary towards Dec 8 by visiting several food establishments during this week. Understanding that COVID-19 places restrictions on dining seats, I am writing this as feedback only and is not meant to be negative comment. The attendant greeted us patiently as my wife struggled to get the Safety Check-in done on her phone. We were brought to a table where we had to sit next to each other and not opposite each other. I looked around and noticed our table is the only one with this arrangement. At the very least, the attendant should have asked if we do not mind this table. When I politely asked him whether there is another 'proper' table, he said this is the arrangement. Again at the very least, he should have advised whether we would like to wait for the next available 'proper' table. When a 'proper' table was available after a family of 3 left, I looked around for him. Once again, at the very least he should have asked if we would like to have that table since we were still waiting to be served.

Would like to compliment one of the Malay service crew. She is absolutely helpful and passionate in her job. Always love Seoul Garden Army Stew. Value for money; especially the set meals. To note: This outlet doesn’t offer buffet.

Perfect hotpot for a rainy day. I wouldn’t coin it as a Korean hotpot as what you would expect when you hear the name of the restaurant, but rather this is up the alley of a fusion dish. The manager is quite friendly and the dishes were served quickly! The collagen soup was quite thick and felt nourishing! My only qualm about the place is the price! It’s about $20+++ per hotpot.
