SevenDaze - Zhongshan Park #01-02 & 03

An awesome found in the neighborhood. Came here for the all day happy hour craft beers. But ended up coming here almost every week for the quality food and genuine service. Staffs are always pleasant and most friendly :)

A relatively new set up opened 2021, has nice seating on 2 levels, we were on Lvl 2 and the decor is beautiful. The mesh of the old and the new, the modern and the traditional plays out very nicely. Food is great too, with a fusion of western and Asian flavours like laksa pasta, mala pasta etc. They also have a very unique set of brews that you can try at a very affordable price, even more so if you sign up with their free membership. Overall very satisfied with the service, ambience, food and the drinks. Will come again ?☺️

Wow! That's my first response when I sunk the fork into the beef rendang to pick up a piece of it for my friend. It's the very definition of fork tender! The meat remain intact without breaking up but in the mouth, it almost melted. I'm totally swooned over. The gravy was something to contend with too. I must admit that when we decided to have their Nonya dishes, I was rather skeptical. I thought their western fare would do better based on the restaurant's decor. That goes to show never judge a book by its cover. I'm glad I'm wrong. The rice is also fluffy and "liap liap", a small detail but made a huge difference when eating with the rendang gravy. The nonya chap chye did not fail either. In fact, it is much better than the Michelin awarded Peranakan place in Dempsey Road! The clam chowder (not part of the Nonya cuisine but something I had been craving for) was also delicious with plumped mini oysters and clams in thickened broth. I do prefer it thinner but I cannot complain much since they gave generous amount of the oysters and clams. I will return to try their curry fish head with more friends which the staff said it could be a bit too big for 2 persons. During our after meal coffee, my friend commented that the service staff (we encountered 3) are really efficient and friendly. I must agree with that as they did check if our lunch was alright and topped up our water without us asking. I also ask for different table which the waiter oblige promptly without showing signs of inconvenience. He also recommended their popular items and they turned out more tasty than i expected. Thank you very much! Our meal of clam chowder, ngoh hiang, beef rendang (4 pieces and highly recommended), chap chye, 2 rice and 2 coffee cost around $86. Totally value for money! I will return soon. Update: It could not be any sooner! I raved about it to my daughter and we ordered takeout the very next day. We have crab meat fried rice, curry chicken, ladies finger, har cheong gai (boneless), kueh pie tee with tiger prawns, fish maw noodle soup, sambal squid, pork belly ijo, on top of beef rendang (must have), ngoh hiang and chap chye. The damage? $151.94

Chanced upon this restaurant (dog-friendly) next to Zhongsan mall at Balestier and was pleasantly surprised by the environment, the drinks and the food served here at pretty reasonable prices. Tried some salad, pasta but my fav was the dry laksa that was served with large prawns and seafood! The lychee flavoured beer was very good for a warm afternoon too.

This place deserve more than 5 stars. The beer is so cheap and super good. I only ordered fries for food and it was honestly the best fries i had! All of the waiters and waitresses were good. Special mention and thanks to Jo who was really amazing. We had 2 kids with us and Jo gave 2 lollipops to them and also cut the straw so that it was suitable for the kids. Thank you very much!

The restaurant is usually crowded during weekend nights, reservation recommended. The beers come in funky names and my personal favourites (based on tasting) are “is this home truly”, “ice ice baby” and “it’s my life”. Other funky names around are “how you like that”, “I wanna be wheat you” and “black humour”. Attractive price at happy hour $9. The food choices are western and localised dishes. Pasta not too great and I am not impressed with the many add-ons. Without the add-ons, you are pretty much just getting $$ plain noodles. Tried the smoked duck salad, pineapple crab fried rice and tempura Brussels sprouts. I find all satisfactory. The smoked duck doesn’t come with strong duck taste which is good. Fried rice is cooked with turmeric spice. Brussels sprout slightly more bitter than usual today.

Nice fusion food at #zhongshanmall with special brew beers. Highly recommend their #beefrendang and pork ribs in their meat platter. Friendly staff who will recommend you their best drinks and dishes while also cautioned us on over-ordering. Environment was lovely too and very child/pet friendly.

This restaurant is so near to my resident but now only manage to get time to try their food. The food was absolutely stunning and scrumptious! The service were good. Friendly staffs and extremely talented chef. Didn’t try much variety due to personal diet restrictions but I was happy to find some healthy platter on their menu. Every dishes was seasoned so well! Chef kiss ? Beautiful environment and must try! ❤️?
