Shariot Car Sharing - 459 MacPherson Rd

I requested a refund of my deposit from the company on 4th March 2022, and it’s been more than 100 days, I am not getting my refund even though their policy is that will be refunded within 60 days. Their customer service could only keep saying that they have informed their team and keep you waiting with no certainty. I have no idea if I will ever get my deposit back.

A company that is completely devoid of shame. Rented a car in spite of having the option to rent from Getgo at the same place, thought that I may as well try them again after several months of avoiding them due to unpleasant experiences. Sure enough Shariot screw me over yet again. Received a Honda fit/jazz car with less than 1/4 tank. Drove it and topped up $20 of petrol after I reported low fuel (after discount $16+ with receipt to show) and returned the car with 4 bars of fuel. Shariot then promptly "fined" me $60 for returning the car with less than 1/4 tank of fuel. They don't even explain properly how many bars is 1/4 tank and when it comes to this is always by estimation. How do I know? Long ago before I stopped renting from them i gave feedback that I had less than 1/4 of fuel from a Honda vezel and they told me 5 bars is 1/4 tank for vezel and 4 bars for Honda fit/jazz. Now it's different again. And fine me for it too! This company is a scam, trying to earn money from "fines" and make people beg them to return the wrongfully charged monies instead of renting cars out honestly. There are many other options: car club(tribe car), Getgo and even Bluesg that have better rental experience, better condition cars and at competitive rates. NEVER rent from shariot even if you have no choice! Most of the good reviews here are fake/inaccurate reviews!

Booked a car for raya 1 month in advance ,they cancelled me booking 2 days before raya and never informed me. When asked they said someone complaint car problems yesterday ,but actually they cancelled my booking 2 days ago. For important events don’t ever rent car from them unreliable and nonsense,if they atleast try to inform i wont be so angry . Waste my time ,and today is raya already so i cant rent another car .f u shariot

Stopped using their services due to the poor booking system - laggy, and many times not able to lock/unlock car. Have waited for more than 6 months to refund $100 deposit, still have not received it. Also note that once you terminate your money in wallet will not be refunded. Overall, a poorly run company. Avoid at all costs. Update: Shariot has refunded the deposit after repeated emails. Will not recommend unless you have an extra $100 to donate to this company.

Shariot has cars in many locations, sure to be one near you. Cars condition tend to have a few scratches and dents but this is really due to drivers who can't drive properly. Maybe should have tougher restrictions to ban these drivers who can't drive. I had an issue where my booking was incorrectly cancelled by CSO but then was later rectified by Vincent who assisted me with dedication and very prompt excellent service. Kudos to Vincent (Shariot should give him a pay raise!)

Being an affordable car sharing company, the management injected an excellent DNA into it's staff members, especially the Customer Services, to offer it's customers a smooth and comfortable car usage experience. Shariot's customers centric attitude, which they have different team of officers attending to customers in different zones, have made the usage of its cars in ease and joy. You will not want to drop using Shariot if you have experience the Customer Service provided by other car sharing providers.

Friendly staff and lots of kaki that literally provide 24 hours online chat & support via the Shariot App Support Live Chat, FB groups & Telegram chat groups.

On Feb 6 I was involved in an accident at Braddell road exit Toa Payoh where a Shariot rental car (SMW8131C) hit my car from behind. Understand the responsible driver has since written to Shariot including their insurer China Taiping Insurance to claim responsibility and reported the accident. However, Shariot has yet to make an accident report to date according to my accident reporting centre feedback where they have repeatedly attempted to reach out to Shariot but to no avail; not sure if trying to evade responsibility.
