Got told off for paying using $1 worth of coins. Says his boss won’t accept next time! Must be a picky boss!

Just went to station's car wash today. It was a poor cleaning job for $11 for my sedan car. During wash - i saw staff just going through the motion of cleaning - didnt seem to be interested in doing a good job. After reaching home, i checked & found lower parts of the car body still have a layer of dirt - which shouldnt be if they have used the jet wash properly or wiped down properly. Havent seen this level of poor washing elsewhere in singapore petrol station washes from my experience. Hope the Shell station management read this & improve. Otherwise, avoid.

Car wash is the worst of all. I’m not a fussy person. Can understand it’s a tedious job and I don really expect every car wash to be throughly clean. But they’re pushy when it comes to asking u to upgrade for wax or tyre treatment. After rejecting, they just go through motion and did a half baked job. Car is still dripping wet after I left with stains on windscreen. Staff was using phone while washing and wiping. It’s bad enough for me to even leave this warning to anyone who does read it..

Man was pushy on the $5 wax. Was the only car there. Asked me to lower window and keep convincing me. Shakes his head unhappily when when I say I just waxed my car 2 weeks ago and self wash 1 week ago. Car wash was not clean and the lower skirting was not washed. My car doors also have the dirt. The dirt came off when I just apply abit of pressure to scrape it off. I gave up and tell him nevermind. Paid and left. This current guys there don’t do a good job. Suggest to go elsewhere and not waste the $12

Car wash was so badly done. Worse car wash ever! Like anyhow wash, not clean at all. Best part is only just started to drizzle, and the guy told us oh it’s going to rain so no need to dry the car LOL! JOKE! Will never go there again

Very bad car wash. Similar to other drivers' experience, the staffs urged for surcharge with wax and wheel cleaners. I often agreed but their wash was very average. Several times, I declined, then the staffs looked unhappy and walked away. The wash just merely a thin foam spray (not even covering 70pct of the car surface) and a purportedly rub on the car. Sometimes, they do not bother look pretentious and leave the windshield untouched. This made me think they were underpaid and had to count on the surcharge as tips (surcharge is paid in cash, so off the record). They were totally uninterested in regular wash. Worse, a week before CNY, they stopped the use of Shell Points and demanded additional CNY surcharge. I am sympathetic for festive surcharge but they should have stated at the entrance of the car wash bay but not at the exit after the service, This is very bad and I shall not return for car wash. I have to rethink about topping gas in other brand but not Shell. They totally mismanage it.
