Cosy bistro with nice food and coffee. They have refurnished old sewing machines as tables and display on wall various nostalgic items from the past.

A quaint shop in its own right. Laid back vibes in an old commercial building. Read about the cakes here in a special Sunday Times feature about food in the Upper Bukit Timah area. Out of the several cakes available, we picked the lemon pistachio cheesecake ($5.80 per slice). Tangy with lemon fragrance makes it a notch better than ordinary cheesecakes. Wish the pistachio taste could be slightly stronger. It was retailing at $5.50 per slice according to the article published on 6 Mar 2022. Price increase in less than a month. What to do in the face of inflationary pressure caused by Russia-Ukraine war!!

I like the variety they served, a lot more choices than the other few nearby cafes and not pricy. The cappuccino is good but not the peach purée tea. Will definitely go back again.

One of my favorite cafe getaways. ☕ Uniquely decorated with antiques, this cafe has good coffee and always a tasty selection of cakes. The key lime cheesecake was a perfectly light and refreshing treat after hiking up Bukit Timah Hill which is just a couple of blocks away. Check it out, but don't tell too many people because I want to have a seat. ? Shen & Co cafe is located just outside of the Beauty World MRT, Exit A.

A peaceful cafe to while your time away. Located right next to Beauty World Station Exit A. I had a most enjoyable me-time enjoying their cake and drink while checking out their vintage decor. ☺️ This place is also suitable for larger groups as there are other groups of families/friends dining and chatting during my time there. Will be back to try their mains! ⭐️Lemon Pistachio Cheesecake ?5.80 Look so pretty right?! Taste as great as it looks! ? The tanginess of the lemon and dried cranberries contrasts the creaminess of the cake well. The pistachio toppings add a great crunch. Also enjoy the prominent flavour of the digestive biscuit base. ⭐️Yuzu Ice Jelly ?6.00 The yuzu drink tastes refreshing already and the addition of ice jelly makes it even better! ? This cafe has a character of its own. Love those antique ornaments! Reminds me of my young childhood days whenever I visit my grandparents... Yuzu jelly drink was awesome

Lovely antique decorated cafes. Tried 2 cakes and enjoyed both! The sticky date pudding has just the right amount of sweetness. And the pistachio cheesecake is delightful with orange peel, dried cranberry and pistachio cookie base. Good service and they sell their antiques too!

Planned to visit the Railway Cafe but as my friends and I walked and talked, when we realized, we have went quite far away. So, we decided to just pop in any cafe we came across. The minute stepped into this cafe, I have a very familiar and cozy feeling. Most probably those antiques displayed around that gave the kind of comfort. The seating arrangement was rather unique but it doesn't bother me. I like that my scrambled eggs are soft and still warm when served. And I love the chicken mayo ? Luckily I didnt follow my friends' order ?
