★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The texture of the noodles is amazing, feels almost like handmade ramen noodles. The broth is both sweet and savoury, and at 3 bucks is really great value with all the ingredients! Well worth the long queue!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Handmade chewy noodles with thick pork soup is the selling point of this stall. Think Chinese ramen. Best eaten with fresh chilli. Can compare with another noodle stall in the same market with a pork and prawn based soup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Portion is very good, taste and noodle texture is also very good. Not exactly perfect especially for the liver but can't really find fault at this price level. Worth it if you happen to be in the area during the daytime but expect to queue for at least 15 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Portion is huge, handmade noodles with lots of meat and a good singapore style pork (like tonkatsu) broth. Do get the soup version as the broth is AMAZING. It’s worth the long wait and the queue that moves at a glacial pace - if not I would’ve given it 6 out of 5 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 生面soup noodle is fantastic with an amazing broth that is super comforting. Ordered $5 portion and we asked for sliced and minced meat only as it would have otherwise come with fish cakes and fish balls.
Much better than then Seletar Sheng Mian in the same food centre. But Seletar Sheng Mian has another branch at Toa Payoh Lor 8 which is better than the Kebun Bahru branch and would come in a close second to 德记美食.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ * update : regulars cutting queue is getting out of hand. Making the wait irritating and unreasonably long.
Pork base flavour broth with generous ingredients (fish ball, liver, pork slices and minced meat). Very robust flavours from the broth matched with springy Sheng Mian with a good bite. Match make in heaven! ??
Leave one last star for improvement in waiting time. Wish they are able to quicken their operations/expand slightly to improve the waiting time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paid $4 for a large 生面汤. The soup base was flavourful. The noodles were springy. The pork slices were lean and tender. Service was friendly but slow. Waited 25 minutes to get my food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great 生面! Soup was tasty with all the ingredients. Noodle chewy and fish balls bouncy. It is like eating mom cooked 生面 at home. Always Great eating from this stall.
The only bad thing is the wait. Even on a rainy days at about 10am, still had to wait for 30 mins.
