β β β β β I tried Shivam restaurant for second time. First time it was for tea and light snacks and second time it was for Dinner. Its a reasonably priced restaurant with quite nice food. Their Punjabi and Gujrati thalis are quite popular. Pujabi thali comes with papad, salad, 2 veggies, Kadi pakora, 1 daal, two tandoori rotis, plain basmati rice and dessert. Portions are a bit small but sufficient for a person. Guarani thali is much better in terms of taste. It comes with Raita, 2 veggies, papad, khichdi and two chapatis. Food is tasty and service v good. We asked for an additional portion of Kadhi pakoda for Punjabi thali and they gladly obliged. We also tried Chole Bhature and they were also quite good.
Good dinner for 3 pacs cost us sgd 33 and they gave us sgd 3.30 discount voucher for use next time.
Previously I had tried Masal tea and Chat platter. Presentation was excellent and taste was good, not excellent.
Overall a value for money restaurant, Gujrati thali is a must try.

My personal favourite would be their Naans. Chewy and crispy. Fragrant too. Generally all the dishes are flavourful enough yet not overly spiced. I love the Khaman Dhokla too, very interesting dish with a sweet savoury profile. The briyani is also surprisingly delicious!Β @shivamrestaurant is a good choice for people who wants variety, but do not like mock meat as there is no mock fish or mutton options for your curry etc. All real food.

β β β β β Lately I am so into vegetarian and found one that to me is of the best Indian Vegetarian Restaurant that tantalise my tastebud ? What makes their food so unique and pleasurable is that it is healthy at the same time tasty!!
What I tried,
Paneer Methi Wala.
This Indian curry dish with cottage cheese prepared with fresh methi leaves is so rich savoury that perfectly harmonizes with spices and flavors. The fresh methi leaves lend a soft texture to the gravy and paneer as the succulent addition contributes to this rich and delicious dish. Is a bursting of flavour with each bite.
Pani Puri.
Super love this crusty crispy puri filled with lip-smacking potato masala and loaded with flavorful water! It is seriously addictive! With a bursts of taste and flavour when pop in mouth and I just cannot stop at one!
Gobi Manchurian (Dry).
This crispy yet tender fried cauliflower coated in a sweet and umami-rich sauce, is finger licking good and tastes heavenly! Cauliflower has really never been this exciting!
Hara Bhara Kabab.
Deep fried Kebabs made from green vegetables! This kabab not only melt in the mouth but also creamy with a crispy crunchy outer and absolutely delicious with perfect blend of flavour. They are not only delicious but nutritious as well.
Cheese & Garlic Naan.
Nothing more indulgent than having a freshly cooked naan topped with melted cheese and garlic! So woo my palate!
Anjeer Milkshake.
I can indulge in a sweet affair with this fantastic milkshake! Fresh fig can be found inside too!
Chocolate Nuts Milkshake.
So creamy chocolatey and the nuts add a crunch to each sip. Insane addictive.
The menu here is very extensive and I will go back again to try others.

β β β β β Definitely the food is worth the visit. Even though i feel that the quality of the food ahs dropped a bit its still the best place in singapore to get a good vada pav and some nice chaat. The plce can really ddo something about the ambience but the service really is still quite good. The menu options are plenty and the ataff do know the menu well. All in all, definitely a place worth visiting and trying out multiple times.
