★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked in the corner of shunfu market and food center sits this wanton noodle stalls. Happen to be in the vicinity and decided to have my meal over here. There were a couple of people in the queue in front of me. It didn’t take long before it was my turn to order.
Basic bowl of wanton noodle starts from SGD$3. Apart from wanton noodle, they also serve dumpling noodle and shredded chicken horfun.
Portion wise, it was fine.
Noodle was nicely cooked, texture was springy. The wanton noodle comes with generous amount of charsiew which I believed to be homemade, they were alright but slightly on the sweet side. Wanton was not bad, could do with more filling though. Over here, the noodle sauce is the black sauce type, could do with more seasoning. Quite an average plate of wanton noodle if you ask me.
