★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pricey noodle. Some Sichuan people say it is really authentic which I believe is true but this is just not my cup of tea. I don’t know what is in the sauce but it tastes like year 1 chemistry lab and leaves my mouth dry for hours. The taste is super strong and salty but it doesn’t feel like it comes from natural spices. I’ve tasted lots of Chinese food and this is definitely one of the more chemical ones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the 凉面。Vinegary overtones with spicy and numbing undertone. Very appetising. Cleared the entire bowl in less than 5mins. $3.50 for a bowl like this. Super value for money and satisfying. Would return to try other things on the menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The unique cold noodle is nice but at $4 is rather pricey especially it has essentially no ingredients, just plain noodle with some peanuts & coriander. Also tried the 'tofu brain' which looks much better than it taste, probably not suitable for a local taste bubs that is used to sweet bean curd than a savoury one.

Tried the 凉面 on two occasions and loved it. This time, I had to have two servings just because it was that good. The 红烧排骨面 was great too - tasty but light enough on the palate. The meat was flavourful and tender.
People’s Park isn’t particularly clean though, but this stall makes a good effort with their hygiene. I really appreciate it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here cos wanted to try the spicy beancurd after first having it in Chengdu. It was VERY spicy - the spice builds up. I liked it very much but it was just too spicy to finish. The beef hand shaved noodles were tasty.
