I visit this coffeeshop everyday as I stay around the area. Nice Breezy Cozy place for a meal or coffee if you avoid the peak hours of lunch. Delicious Won Ton Mee that have been here for more than 10 years. The Zi Char Store has a wide spread of dishes too. Located conveniently opposite Whampoa Community Center which has a Post Office and DBS ATM machine too. Just down the corridor you'd have 24x7 Hao Mart Convenient Store. The place is considerably clean and well lit too.

Best Mamee Spare rib in town at reasonable prices. Zi char dishes also had great wok hey by Malaysian chefs. Lady boss and staff v polite too. Only downside is not open during noon for lunch hours. Must try!

It's my family's frequent Go-to place whenever we crave for simple Cze Char. Everything from the food to the locale is perfect. The Malaysian owners have become our friends and nestled in a quiet neighbourhood in Whampoa, the place is breezy, laid-back, with ample car-parking right behind the coffeeshop. We air down, order our favourite food, and it's always great and reasonably priced, plus meals are always accompanied by spirited chats about family and life with the nice rotund lady owner...I can't think of anything to complain about this place and the food:)

When it comes to humble zi char restaurants that are providing good quality food for the neighborhood is where I want to start. A story as old as ever is what warms my heart, feeding families, providing a space to gather among friends to share a meal and enjoy each other companies is what makes all restaurants like this special. And is why all people should cherish those local delights, to bring light to them and bring joy to the people who does that work. This place cooked some good grub. Salted egg prawn was huge, juicy and exploded in your mouth with that umami flavor from the yolk. Marmite ribs, which i haven’t try before were deliciously glazed, sticky but not too sticky, dark and smoky with tender fall off the bone meat. They yam delight was amazing, always love that stuff. Thai chicken was fantastic, love the sweet and sour sauce and the raw onions which was very good, not very pungent or strong which it can be. Fantastic team there working and providing family food for the neighborhood. Love to see it go support your local delights and tell them how much you appreciate what they’re doing!

A bit pricey for a neighbourhood tzechar but their fried rice is very good. Other dishes i have tried also decent. Pleasant coffeeshop ambience, only gripe is the smoking area and non smoking area are side by side, no point to segregate since we can smell the smoke everywhere.

The Moonlight Hor Fun taste like Cha kway tiao. But nonetheless delicious with wok hey. Not much ingredients except an egg and 2 stalks of veg for $6.
