Parking just outside the restaurant can be quite limited. And you have to move the car once youโ€™ve done with dinner otherwise they will clamp the car. Food wise itโ€™s quite comparable to other bak koot teh around. This is the herbal version rather than the peppery version.

Kind of funny a Bak Ku Teh shop their Bak Ku Teh is not nice. Order a $10 Special Bak Ku Teh supposedly be their signature dish? Not really fantastic to be honest. However the seaseme chicken is very tasty and also the the noodle. The noodles are only 1 size but I think enuf for 3-4 pax. Order the prawn paste spring roll and also the fried chicken with oat both taste so so only. I have Q up almost an hours to taste something not nice so unlikely will come back again for the Bak Ku Teh. However the noodle is something worth coming back but for takeaway and certainly not going to dine in. Total 5 dish for 2 pax cost about $55 so kind of expensive I feel.

Realize itโ€™s so famous yet I never attempted to go try! Missed this jewel. Food is love. Price is slightly higher. Crew service is great! 3 generations of efforts to keep the business. And I Love the soups with this ๅคๆ—ฉๅ‘ณ.. setting & food both makes me feel like Iโ€™m in Jb! *the fish is A must try for spicy lovers. Look like curry fish, has some Peranakan taste.. and pretty spicy if you try it without rice. Flavourful!

Hands down the best bkt in Singapore. Itโ€™s unlike the super peppery ones you get else where. To describe the taste, it is like a mild peppery soup with chicken and pork essence. Every single pork has a good balance of fats and meat, making it tender and meaty. Portion is decent too. Limited parking lots and crazy queue. So do come early during perk hours! Itโ€™s worth the queue!

Good supper place of chill Malaysia vibes. They serve a nice warm bowl of Bak Kut Teh. We (a party of 4) ordered a large bowl of Bak Kut Teh, small serving of Thai Chicken & You Tiao. It was just nice for us ?? Great place to spent quality time over supper. P.S. It can be quite stuffy/hot depending on where you sit.

Great place for a good claypot BKT. The vegetables got wok hey, prices are very reasonable for portion given. Most are on the saltier side, but Depends on your own preferences. Their opening hours are good for even supper. Parking will be abit hard as there are limited parking around. The place allows for 5 pax dine in, great to go with friends and family. They will take your order while queuing, and once you get your seats, your orders will get served quite quickly.

Bak Kut Teh (SGD $12.50) @ Sin Heng Claypot Bak Koot Teh. . Since 1983, this stall has been serving a herbal bak kut teh version that will appeal to those who prefer a lighter taste. . Their soup carries a pleasant medium strength of body, kept warm in the earthenware claypot. Has mild herbal sweet savoury flavour. . The smallest version has crisp lettuce with vegetal sweet flavour, large juicy button mushrooms with vegetal earthy herbal flavour, and decently tender pork ribs with meaty sweet savoury flavour. . The pickled salted mustard greens are juicy with a mild vegetal salty sweet flavour, and the requisite fluffy white rice is nicely grainy sweet in taste. . Part of their appeal here is the range of zi char dishes on the menu, making for a unique pairing with their BKT.

The last time I ate here was close to 10 years ago. It was my favourite place for their herbal styled BKT. I recall the rich herbaceous broth that was unbeatable elsewhere. On this visit many years later, somehow I feel that the broth was somewhat diluted. Other than the distinct black sauce flavour, there is not much of herbal aroma nor feel on the palate. The meat is tender though. What I like more this time is the fresh prawn with vermicelli. Itโ€™s not the dry Thai-style that I expected but in BKT soup. Somehow the soup is richer but still not as herbal as I would like it to be. The prawns are big and fresh. Overall itโ€™s still not bad but could be better.
