I made a reservation for a nice birthday dinner. A highly overpriced 5 course meal was the worst fine dining experience I’ve had in Singapore. Short list of disappointments: A hair in the cold pumpkin soup, vongole made with sour tomato sauce, overcooked lobster in the capellini pasta, rich apple tasting scallop tartare (no mention of apple in the recipe).. The remaining selections were bland and the servers didn’t know the ingredients when we asked. Provided feedback and left my number to the manager on duty who said she would β€œadvise the management”. We left wondering who was in charge that night. Of course .. we never received a call or message from anyone. I don’t recommend dining here. I’ll not be going back nor referring any friends of mine.

Headed to Victoria Memorial Hall to catch Pangdemonium's much delayed play The Mother. Due to COVID-19 related Safety Management Measures, the play was delayed from April earlier this year till now. Before the play, the decision was made to attempt to get a spot at Sinfonia Ristorante, the restaurant that is within Victoria Memorial Hall. Have heard good things about this place and was looking forward to a sikit atas meal here. Pre-COVID-19, this restaurant was always booked out before shows by theatre goers wanting a meal nearby before the shows. Probably due to the limited crowd within the theatre, getting a table here 3 days before was surprisingly still possible via the Chope App. The Chope App has a special pay $90 for $100 voucher for sale but it can only be used with a 5-course or 7-course meal. Upon entry, you could feel the ambiance of the place is really sikit atas ala Fine Dining. The restaurant had some nice personal touches such as with the wine glasses and drinking glasses, where one edge is higher than the other so that when one drinks from the high side, one is still able to look at the opposite party with no blockage. This is something that never crossed most people's minds but it definitely shows the extent of customer service the management has considered. The menu consists of a Dinner Menu or a Premium Menu. Having selected the Dinner Menu, the staff then explained that the multi course meal is entirely up to the guest, meaning for a 4 course meal, the guest may chose any 4 items on the menu and items may even be repeated, if so desired, as long as staying within 4 items total. Wow. A great dining spot as well as a Date Night place. A place for the special occasions. General Verdict: Great Fine Dining restaurant with excellent Customer Service and wonderful Food Queue Situation: Next to none but best to book ahead as crowds may build up with the reopening of the nation Price: 4-course meal - SG$98++ per person 5-course meal - SG$138++ per person 7-course meal - SG$168++ per person 3-course kids meal - SG$28++ per person (Ages 6-11 only) Payment Mode: Cash and Visa/Mastercard Credit/Debit Cards only

Gastronomic experience with dainty portions in an impressive setting. Service top notch. Great place for date night or lunch with the girls.

We will keep coming back, only because uncle Raymond is there! It's a joy to dine at Sinfonia with Raymond sharing his experiences with you. The food is also delicious, especially the octopus pasta and sea bass. You even get unlimited servings for the mains, so it's really quite worth it for the price.

Had a very pleasant evening 4 course set dinner. Our waiter was Mr Raymond Foo who was very entertaining throughout who highlighted the beautiful architecture and even explained the design of our cutlery. He was very attentive and refilled our drinking glasses very promptly. The food was delicious and the portions just right. Parking was at the next building at Parliament House but there were no elevators. It was a pleasant walk, admiring the architecture of the area.

Excellent ambience and impeccable service with staff meticulously explaining each course on the set lunch. Good value for money as you can have repeat servings of the dishes you like ( I went for the risotto). Food combination was a bit confused as the courses didn't seem to have a flow but each on it's own was good. If you want to spoil yourself, go for the free flow Prosecco at $48. And love their customized cutlery n drinking glasses designed with intention to elevate the experience.

Absolutely amazing service. It was pouring and the staff lent us an umbrella and even sheltered me from a side entrance as I was expecting. Food was great! Everything was executed perfectly. I loved the French onion soup, truffle risotto and salmon very much that I had seconds. Very very value for money! Will definitely be back. service from the staff was amazing!
