J	Justin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went on on a weekend, reach around 11 plus already got short Q in front of me but decided to wait due to reading the review. In the end I didn’t waste my time here love how light the fish meat taste and the sauce goes well with the steam egg and rice also !!

This stall sells whole steam fish meal that come complete with steam rice and pudding. It offers a few type of fishes, namely, sea bass, golden pomfret, grouper and two other options. I ordered the grouper steam fish meal. Didn't have to wait long when i was there around 10:45am, the store opens for business from 10:30am. The queue did get much longer closer to lunch hour. For a whole steam fish, the price for it is good. The steam fish does have a fishy smell but that is made right with the wonderful chilli sauce available. Would be going back for more.

S	Sternritter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely fresh whole fish, with a side of silky-smooth steamed egg and white rice for $5. Incredible value, not to mention scrumptious. Simple, healthy, affordable, delicious. Definitely one of the best stalls in Golden Mile and evidently a hawker dominator. Expect long queues because of how good it is plus it's a 1-man show.

Been there many times and never once was the fish served cold, fishy or over-cooked. Must go early for the chance to choose from 5 different sets-sea bass,black groupa,golden pomfret, chopped chilli steamed fish and salty back bean version. $5-$6. Going back every week to eat but have not tried the chilli version and salty black bean version yet. Love the other 3 sets more.
T	TCH on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty and punchy Steam Fish being served by this stall in Golden Mile Hawker Center! It’s worth the queue to have a meal here. For $5 - $6 for steam fishes it’s a steal and a fulfilling one too!

The fish was very fresh, and the meat firm yet juicy. Love the soy sauce that came with it, made all the difference when eating with rice. For the black bean version, it was half a fish. Only drawback was that the rice quality was not very good, was a bit too hard/dry for me (一粒一粒 instead of fluffy white rice). Nonetheless $6 for a set of steamed fish, rice and steamed egg is very value for money!
