โ โ โ โ โ We saw a long queue and decided to drop by after some shopping at vietnamese supermarket along joo chiat rd.
The prawn vadai is nice, it's tasty with chewy texture and not oily. The gizard and liver both hard. The chicken skin is crispy if you get the thin one, but watch the feather, it's unplucked and you can see it everywhere. The dal okay only.
So as the name mentioned - original vadai, get the vadai to get the best.

โ โ โ โ โ Have tried all the different versions but still prefer the prawn version. Cannot deny that theirs is one of the better tasting ones.
The prawn version was at $1.00 per piece previously but they recently increased the price to $1.20 per piece, i was willing to accept that, knowing that prices of things have increased. But when i bought today, found that the dough is now also halve the normal thickness. Doesn't the increased of price be sufficient enough for them to cover their cost and profit, that they now have to reduce the dough so that they can make more to sell?
So disappointed but what to do, buy less loh.

โ โ โ โ โ No doubt their Vadai is one of the best. The prawn was big and it's a perfect match by serving with green chilli, which the astringent taste balance it well.

โ โ โ โ โ I ordered delivery and the seller was very nice to cater to my changes.
I used to eat this every time I see it at pasar malam. To be honest, the standard dropped a little. It used to be more airy and light. Hope the business can take in this feedback and improve.
But, still one of the best in Singapore. :)

โ โ โ โ โ Tried both the veggie and shrimp ones. They were both good but a little oily. I liked the veggie ones better as the shrimp is whole so it needs to be peeled - great value for money

โ โ โ โ โ Tried on a Saturday evening. It appears that the shrimp Vadai is selling all the time, therefore you can most probably get hot Shrimp Vadai anytime you walk in. Also have other items in the menu including vegetation Vadai. The place has a queue, but it moves fast. Vadai is tasty and definitely value for money, 1 Shrimp Vadai = S$1
