New stall with queue. Nice tasty soup. Average price and portion. Standard $3 bowl not worth as might be small frozen prawns. Higher price portion with bigger prawns better.

Ordered the signature dry prawn noodle $5, which comes with a piece of pork, 2 tiny fishcake type of thing n 2 fairly huge prawns which although huge but otherwise quite tasteless. Noodle is tossed overly oily n tasted pretty bland, didn't finish it. Noodles came with a bowl of soup which tasted pretty good with strong prawny taste the first few spoonful but the sugary taste became overpowering. Didn't finish too.

Prices start from $3. We bought two bowls of the basic prawn noodles that supposedly comes with 3 mini frozen prawns, slices of fish cake and pork slices. We noted that they forgot to put in pork slices for one of the bowls. When my dining partner went to ask them, they said that instead of pork slices, they added in abalone slices for that particular bowl. If the stall holder intended their reply to be funny and witty, we certainly did not appreciate it when a simple apology would suffice. Wanted to give them at least 4 stars for the delicious broth and reasonable prices. It’s a shame that their service is questionable and that they used frozen prawns that lacked taste and texture for their basic version. Update: Tried again a second time since the broth was rather tasty. This time bought the big prawns with added pig skin. Their pig skin had black spots and hair on them. Lost my appetite upon eating a morsel of pig skin with prickly hair on it. Big prawns were not de-veined. It was disgusting to see the black intestine on the prawn. Downgraded to two stars.

They really live up to their name as House of Prawn. Love their soup! Dry version with the top up version at 7 dollars!!! They don't deserve less then 5 stars! i live nearby and the standard is constant or even improve! hope Michelin Bib Gourmand Gives them a rating! Take your time to savour the Prawns freshness. i can guarantee. Auntie is old and she is abit slow. She did tell me she got scolded before by customers which hurts me and need time to make every bowl taste as wonderful and constant quality to every customer.

Hearty $5 signature prawn dry noodles. Soup's good, prawns fresh, the mix of sauces with the noodles taste just nice for me. Not too salty. Veg includes kangkong & bean sprouts. Extra chilli powder to add if you need. Enjoyed the bowl. Perhaps more shallots will make it even more enjoyable!

This looks like a 5 stars dish but taste just like a 2 stars one. The generous ingredients and the overall portion makes it look value for money even at $6 but the taste department was lacking, things I would expect from a good bowl of prawn noodle(peeled & sliced prawn, tender ribs, doses of pork lard etc) were all lacking. The soup was probably the best part of the whole dish.

Very tasty prawn broth. Affordable pricing at $3 and yet the broth is flavouful. Do add $1 for the pork ribs which is nicely seasoned and well cooked. Probably one of the best prawn noodle soup in the west! Plus the two stall aunties are super friendly too.
