Tasty charsiew and wanton ????

A relatively new stall in this market, where the staff are dressed in restaurant like attire. There’s no display of prices on the stall front but Wanton Mee is $4 which comes with a generous amount of char siew. The charsiew has a nice amount of char and fatty portion which is above average for a wanton mee stall. Wanton is a shrimp version and comes in 3 with each serving of wanton mee. Mee is the usual thin egg noodle (different from Kok Kee), more towards the HK wanton noodle style, which is coated in a light sort of soya sauce which is not too heavy. Each serving also comes with a small portion of vegetables and a generous portion of their sambal chilli which is extremely tasty. Do also request for pork lard and green chilli for a complete experience. To add chicken feet would be an additional $2. PS. My mum thinks the chef is handsome and looks like a HK actor which may be a plus for aunties in the market to try the food

My dad probably ordered a one way ticket to high cholesterol : char siew noodle with 100% char siew fats. Mind you, it wasn’t the part where it’s fatty and flavourful. It was just fats and no meat. Store insisted that there was meat. Nothing to say then
