★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Singapura Heritage at SingPost today. Both of us ate curry rice & I ordered the $5.20 braised pork set which was very disappointing. The braised meat was so hard that I ended up eating my rice with the cabbage & the fried egg floss. For a curry rice stall, this is unacceptable. A nice, homely ambience plus good customer service from the cleaners couldn’t recover this tough meat. Saw this slim female cleaner helping an old woman who had walking difficulties, she asked her to sit down, helped her buy a drink & her noodle. Such extra mile service & felt happy watching this happening right before me. I took pictures of her. She came to clear our dishes & asked how’s the food & I told her about the tough meat. Terrible! We were there to watch a 12pm movie upstairs & I hope you tell the curry rice this feedback to improve. 2 stars for food at curry rice but 5 stars for service from the cleaners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ laksa big helping, consistent with slightly higher price
BUT
curry colours are attractive - but flavours slightly bland /flat - just acceptable.
Chicken slightly "sandy" flesh and not firm muscles..... won't crave for it again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The curry chicken noodles from bee hong hainanese chicken rice is good. Smooth fragrance chicken, fish cake, tao-pok in huge bowl of curry soup...big portion, tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yum Yum Yum ? Great little mini food outlet located on the 2nd floor of SingPost. Nice seatings n tables with niche local decor which makes for pleasant dining. Local delights featured are chicken rice, wonton noodles, curry rice n noodles, fried bee Hoon n ngoh Hiang, popiah etc, Muslim penyet rice (excellent), drinks with usual side dishes etc. All in with plenty of choice for a good meal. Lunch can be a little busy so do go early to catch your meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a relatively new foodcourt on the second floor, with stalls like Rong’s wonton noodles, Zhong Zhong ngoh hiang, as well as chicken rice and penyat chicken.
We tried the popiah and kueh pietee, and the beehoon and ngoh hiang etc.
The popiah was okay, while the kueh pietee skin was a tad hard and old though still edible. The bee hoon was okay if a little wet. We liked the prawn fritter, which was crisp and fresh, and the liver roll. The pei dan was so-so and a tad runny, while the dough fritter was pretty ordinary.
The decor is pretty nostaglic, with old looking floor tiles and murals dotted about.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's basically a food court with different individual food stores
We had the Hainanese Curry Rice - Crispy Chicken Classic with deep fried chicken in Prawn paste batter (har cheong kai style) and long beans with lots of thick curry sauce - average.
The dry wonton noodles was also average

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The interior design of Singapura Heritage caught our eyes and we decided to settle in for lunch. The first impression when we went in was a homely, warm feel and remind us of our childhood days especially after seeing the mural painting on the wall and all the old school biscuit tin and thermos flask.
There was a range of popular heritage food stall and we ordered the Zhen Jie signature Prawn Noodle in both thin & thick egg noodle and we love it! Both noodle gives a different type of taste and texture and it goes well together with the ingredients. The broth is fragrant and sweet and you can taste the prawn and pork bone flavour in it. We also had the famous Zhong Zhong Ngoh Hiang with the bee Hoon which is relatively good and not too oily.
