★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being ex Malaysian I long for the simple home made roadside seller (makcik setting up a stall near her home or with the boot of her car). It has been hard to find. This comes very very close and it satisfies that nostalgia. The rice trumps many other Singapore style nasi lemak around the area. It’s probably the most important ingredient in a good nasi lemak. Another thing I really appreciate is freshly deep fried ikan bilis- none of the air fried or baked and mass produced ones. Very enjoyable. Thank you! We’ve been back many times since we found this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $5.20 for a nasi lemak chicken set? And it taste nothing special or wow. Please set your prices reasonable as its just not worthy paying that amount. Your sambal is nothing special and the amount you put is so little waiting to get extra $0.20 i guess. Not recommended for me. Nothing special on this nasi lemak with price like that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update: they don’t do plates and bowls anymore. Paper bowls and a blardy tray. (-1)
Arguably the best nasi lemak in Singapore. The rice is nice and fluffy, the sambal isn’t too sweet and the fried chicken... oh my... perfect! They’ve got other dishes as well like sambal sotong, lontong, etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken wing, ikan bilis were fantastic. Long grain rice was quite unique.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long grain rice is very fragrant, came just in time for a fresh batch! Didn’t have any vegetable options because we came late but recommend the fried chicken and fish otah ?? Begedil is average, can be more crispy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have become popular that this years after several years the taste and fragrant is fading a bit. Ordered 3 set but one set has the fried chicken not been provided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The nasi lemak rice is very nice, sambal chilli is without seed and fragrant. The chicken wing is crispy. Worth eating if nearby Bukit Timah area. Parking can be an issue during pick hour.
