My first time here was a blast. Recommended and accompanied by my friends. Service above ok. Atmosphere very homey. Price was reasonable for the high quality they provided : food (most important), atmosphere and services. The opening Beetroot Tartare was the best beetroot treatment ever. It’s fresh and served cold. The Escargots a bit too salty but you can eat it with complimentary bread (also delicious). Main course I ordered Duck ? Confit which the duck itself was delicious but the accompanied salad and cassava was not a good match in my opinion. I prefer they served it with french fries or mash potatoes. My friend ordered Pork Chop which was super delicious (matching Chinese famous BBQ pork ?) and my other friend ordered Bourguignon which was so so. Oh yeah their Pan Seared Foie Gras was excellent. Dessert was a giant Peach Mel Beach which we didn’t expect that the size was huge. Oke lah the taste ? I will definitely comeback and highly recommend this French restaurant

Great dining experience - lovely location and atmosphere. Food is made with high quality products and served in generous portions. Keep some space for the chocolate profiteroles... High end grocery store next door is a little gem to stock on good quality cheese, pates, sweet treats. Will definately be back! Thanks team So France

Came by for breakfast one morning: loved the interior decor and clean new restaurant (it’s literally spotless!), and delicious food. Don’t miss it! Update: Second visit was just as awesome. The service is spectacular, we dine out often and I really wanted to emphasise this! Special thanks to the manager (didn’t get his name) who was really kind and lovely to us. It’s now my favourite cafe in Singapore.

Recommended by friends to this modest but lovely eatery which serves good food in a casual and relaxed setting. We were there early but the crowd streamed in continuously later on and it was full house during dinner time! Servers were helpful, polite and friendly.

We’ve been patronizing their Duo location for years so were keen to try the Claymore location when it opened. The location isn’t the best but isn’t the worst. I think they’ve done a reasonably good job of renovating the space and it looks nice inside, with a covered patio area, as well. It’s a different vibe from Merci Marcel. In some ways, the two are competing as French cafes and restaurants with retail shops, but the concepts and menus are also different enough from each other. Pricing is similar. For lunch, we tried a couple of sandwiches and some pastries. Everything was tasty. I like their pastries a lot and always have. They’re good and represent better value than, say, Paul. One minor gripe was that we had to pay for the pastries separately from the meal because those are from the cafe. That’s a minor but unnecessary annoyance. Service was good, not without issues but about what one would expect for a newly opened place. I expect they’ll get into their groove fairly quickly.

Place looks amazing. But food was so-so. It didn’t taste bad, perhaps just not to my liking. I ordered the baked Camembert and So France burger. The Camembert felt like a piece of normal melted cheese. Nothing spectacular. Didn’t pair well with the breads provided. For the burger, the fries were decent, and that’s about it. The bread for the burger was so tough, it felt like a jaw exercise. The patty was juicy but was clumpy and didn’t have the bite to it. Portion was good though if that’s a plus point.

Brought my partner here for her birthday dinner. Great atmosphere & service! Food wise, the French Onion Soup & the Duck Confit were the best I’ve had the pleasure of trying. Paired of course with some great wines! Do check out the grocery after dinner.

Popped by the new Claymore outlet and SoFrance never disappoints!!! It was our first time going in the afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by the afternoon menu. It's not huge but just enough and the sandwiches were delicious. Service was top notch as ever and the coffee was banging too!
