Dr Heng is a patient and lovely doctor that delivered my 1st born and soon my 2nd born

We decided to engage Dr. Heng as our gynae as recommended by some friends and relatives. Rest assured, all appointments up to the delivery went smoothly. Dr. Heng delivered our baby although it was only 5.30 am. She took the liberty to deliver the baby even though it was within such a short notice. Will take this opportunity to thank Dr. Heng and all nurses involved!

I was admitted to hospital (Dec 2019) with 3cm dilation till 8am+ and Dr Heng came to see me around 8.20am and said that once she break my water bag I will give birth by 11am. And true enough! I was so worrried and I asked if I needed a c section and she confidently told me nooooooo need! Definitely natural! Don’t need for c section. I gave birth to my 3.4kg baby girl naturally without epidural. What I like about her is her confidence and how precise she is! And not to forget her stitching is good! She’s also a pro natural! Currently pregnant with #2 and I’m still going back to her! The people who works there are friendly and nice as well! (:

Every appointment with Dr Heng ends quickly. She will not explain in detailed (especially if you are a curious and anxious FTM) but she will only inform you important details that you need to know. She will answer your questions too, but very briefly. For that, I was questioning if I chose the right gynae. However, upon delivery, and based on many other mothers’ experiences with their gynae, I have gained new level of respect and appreciation for Dr Heng. She’s gynae from private hospital but she truly supports pro natural delivery right from day 1. Always encouraging us to opt out epidural if we can endure too. Which is surprising cause we always have this preconceived notion that private gynae will try to push for csect and epidural (due to the fees etc!) I was having a hard time pushing my baby and suggested if should use vacuum but I was “scolded” by Dr Heng. She encouraged me to try and not to even think about vacuum. And indeed, I made it after about 3 hours of active labour! All natural, thank God. Highly recommended if you want a fuss-free, quick, happy-go-lucky, motherly-naggy, pro natural gynae (bonus if you stay at the northeast / east side)! ??

Dr Heng DIDN'T deliver my son 18 years ago. It was nighttime, the East Shore midwives forgot to call her so she arrived AFTER my boy arrived. He was blue and lacking in oxygen. Very traumatizing experience for us both. I was still charged the full bill by clinic, no apologies, very cold treatment from Dr Heng. I have had 2 other fantastic deliveries in France and Ireland, one before and one after my son, only this delivery was a near disaster. Thankfully my son is healthy today although he has some attention deficit issues which may or may not be related to birth trauma.

Dr Heng is a very cheerful gynae. If there's any advice that you needed to know she will explain to you and tell you what needs to be done. My first and second baby was delivered by her and the 3rd one will be delivered by her too! I highly recommend Dr Heng to all mom to be. She is very fast, calm and most importantly always smilling. Happy go lucky! Also, all Dr Heng receptionist are friendly and not those fussy type when responded. When you have things to ask or are concern about they will explain to to you. Highly Recommended!

Dr Heng is professional and dependable. She's quick and calm even during emergencies. I credit her and her team greatly for helping me have a smooth and quick natural birth even though it was an emergency situation. Nurses are friendly and nice too, empathetic.

We took the maternity package with Dr Heng. Every checkup was pretty fast and precise. During the delivery day, Dr Heng and the nurses were very attentive and supportive during the whole process. We had a good experience at Parkway East Hospital. Highly recommended!
