One of the best fish ball noodles I had so far! Mee pok was cooked to perfection, not too soft nor under cooked. The sambal chilli and vinegar were exceptionally fragrant that elevated the whole dish. Fish balls were very tasty too! Highly recommended!

Nice and tasty. Only complains are too many houseflies and the uncle taking orders, abit rude. Food wise, luv it.

Tip: Order the $6 bowl so that you get Her Keow as this is one of the highlights! If you love big flavours, I would suggest you ask for extra chilli and vinegar. They can light handed at times. Overall, a very hearty bowl of noodles with good amount of quality ingredients. One that would get me returning for more!

Heard alot about this stall in Bishan selling fishball noodle. There are actually quite a few stalls in Singapore selling fishball noodle under the name of Song Kee and i have tried all those stall with this stall being the last. Reached the coffeeshop around 10.30am and there were already a long queue. Waited for almost 15mins before it was my turn to order. Price for the fishball noodle starts from SGD$4 onwards. Each bowl of noodle comes with sliced fishcake, lean pork, fishball and their famous fish paste dumpling. Noodle was nicely cooked and texture of noodle was springly. The noodle was probably not drained well while cooking as a result sauce was a little diluted, otherwise would have a been a good bowl of noodle. Ejoyed the ingredient espically the fish paste dumpling.

There is a perpetually long queue in the mornings and i happened to be there when the queue was short. I don’t know why there are many Song Kee fishball noodles stalls but they all seem to serve different varieties. Fishball was quite big. Not as big as others. Noodle was cooked al dente. The cook made sure of that by sticking his fingers in to check the texture. He must have metallic fingers. At least he didn’t handle money. Chilli wasn’t spicy but still good. 3 stars for taste. 4 stars because cook has Kung Fu fingers.
