★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Satay bee hoon is one of the local dishes that you don’t see very often in a coffeeshop these days. It’s such a weird combi to some and it stirs up nostalgia for some. So when I came across this stall few years back, I didn’t hesitate to try it and it is really good! The elderly couple has been doing this for decades and if you fancy, you can buy their sauce pack and have your own Satay bee hoon at home!

Traditional satay bee hoon comprising fine slices of lean pork, liver, cuttlefish with added cockles and kang kong. Peanut gravy is lightly flavoured and not spicy or oily.
Satisfying meal... ?

Pork, liver, squid, cockle, and veggie were fresh and cooked to perfection. Satay sauce was tasty. Most importantly, it was not too salty.
Definitely recommended. For those who are put off by the smell of offals, this shop uses only the freshest ones.
