β β β β β Very generous servings and value for money! My picky kid loves the soup and keeps asking to go back for more. Can tell no Msg added too cuz my kid is allergic to Msg so its difficult for us to find outside food thats suitable for her.
Pumpkin rice is nice and the curry chicken reminds me of the ones my late grandma cooked. Always sold out very early..

β β β β β A very good lunch spot, I managed to get a seat at 12.20pm, the auntie helped open a table for me :-) Soup was tasty though a tad salty, side dish of vegetables was good for a boost of fiber, taste-wise was average as it is pre-cooked and had cooled to room temperature. Overall a pretty hearty meal!

β β β β β Fast service......theres 1 auntie who will arrange the table for you and even carry your orders to the table for you. She does this even dying their peak lunch hour. Great service. Reasonably priced too.
Loved the soup, pumpkin rice and brinjal....very tasty but I found it a little oily. The lotus roots pork rib soup was very thick and rich.
I'd probably have to walk it off (extra work-out) later this evening.
Overall, good experience.

β β β β β Have heard alot about e good soups, curry, pumpkin rice & luncheon meat that this cozy eatery has & I finally tried it! Food is as tasty & nice as reviewed! Esp love e curry & peanut soup. 2 thumbs up!

Lotus soup is the best i think! Their chicken soup with black fungus was underwhelming.

β β β β β Highly recommended by friends, so I finally gave it a try. I personally like the lotus root pork ribs soup and pumpkin rice very much. The soup is very thick and flavourful. They are really generous with the soup, peanuts and lotus roots. The best part is this soup is MSG free as I do have side effects after taking food with MSG, this soup is perfectly fine. The pumpkin rice is really yummy and not too sticky nor dry, just the perfect texture and taste for me. $8 for 2 items. Price is very reasonable in this area with high rental. Remember to go early as they sell out fast. My friend ordered the chicken herbal soup and curry chicken. Both are good too. Have yet to try the rest. Will definitely visit this place again!

β β β β β My go-to place whenever I am in that vicinity. Nice boss and fast service. Most importantly, the lotus soup is good, and the curry chicken. I also love the pumpkin rice though sometimes I go with plain rice to complement the curry chicken. ?
