SP3 Chicken Rice

I personally really enjoyed this meal. The white chicken was tender and juicy, it was generously drizzled with sauce. The rice was particularly fragrant, paired with their rich and zesty chili, it went really well together. The soup was very refreshing especially after such a heavy meal, making it the perfect combination.

If you are looking for a delectable meal which leaves you entralled, SP3 chicken rice is considered to be noteworthy. As a gastronome myself, I am well acquainted with many places all over Singapore to try out the different flavours of chicken rice for the past decade. This includes kopitiams, foodcourts, hawker centres, bistros and 5 star hotels. No stall stand out a mile like SP3. Both owners and helpers are amiable and conversable with unruffled disposition. Food wise, be it steamed, roasted chicken or even the rice itself, everything is cooked to perfection, while preserving the utmost freshness and tenderness, one that would unquestionably be commended by the harshest food critic, or worthy of two Michelin stars and above. I implore everyone to give it a try. Two Thumbs up :)

This is a new chicken rice stall. The chicken and cabbage soup were pretty good. Unfortunately, the rice felt ‘heavy‘ (maybe it was too greasy), the chilli lacked punch (burn the lips but do not have the right amount of sourness) and the chopped ginger looked weird (dry and dark in colour). Sellers were friendly and accepted e-payment.

This is a newly-opened store at Redhill Food Centre, and it is a branch of the popular FC3 store in Singapore Polytechnic. I decided to try the Chicken Rice set, as well as the Chicken Cutlet rice with egg. The Hainanese chicken is tender and tasty, and comes with a right amount of thick savoury sauce which imparts the flavour. The Chicken cutlet is crispy and the spice blend really comes through, complemented by a quick drizzle of sweet lemon-based sauce. For both sets, a very hearty bowl of cabbage soup is provided which is probably boiled with chicken stock. I must say the soup quality is astonishing, as compared to other chicken rice stores. My only complaint will be the quantity of chicken meat for the chicken rice set is too little (see photo to get a sense). As such, I will suggest to order half-chicken ($11) if your are lunching with a friend.

Customer service: Lady Boss Jess & Boss were friendly and responsive and they kept me updated of the arrival timing too which I and my group members appreciated it alot. Delivery was punctual, no delays ?????? Food: - No regret ordering the half steam chicken, tender nice. Love it alot - Chilli was good!! My son faster kept the other 2x extra chili, he said must keep so tat he can eat again with his other food?? - The ginger sauce was good!! We like it alot. - The Roasted Thigh meat was abit dry for me. - The separated rice 1x pack was wet due to the condensation I tink. - My 2nd daughter liked the chicken cutlet, had asked for tis for the 2nd order. Overall, yes! My family liked the chicken rice and for the special combi rice set was definitely a worth buy! Thank u Jess & Hub :)
