Delicacy Zhu Chao 美味煮炒 - 85 Redhill Ln

Ordered sambal and prawn fried rice via Grab. Orders were being prepared only after an hour. Taste was OK but not value for money ($7 each).

Been patronizing this stall for their Putien style LaLa+prawns noodles since 2020 . Flavourful and $6 portion size is satisfying. However , my recent visit is disappointed with the tastes of the gravy & noodles. A bit not consistent with the 2 chef cooking. Even the salted egg sauce chicken rice also not to the average taste at all.

This store has no queue system and absolute zero customer service, the auntie taking orders outside the stall openly allowed 2 old uncles to blatantly cut queue and took their orders . There was another lady queuing in front of me and she had been standing in front of the auntie for a while but was totally ignored and skipped over by the auntie who chose to take the orders from the ones who cut queue. When approached to ask why she allowed that, she gave a black face and claimed she is too busy and still refuse to take our orders . Absolutely abhorrent and Zero customer service !!! In the end both of us walked off and gave up ordering. The uncle still had the cheek the claim he know the boss and had the right to order first. There are plenty of good hawkers stores in redhill market and we do not need to be at the mercy of this errant hawker and not that the food is any 5 star restaurant standard !!

Ordered from Garb, i am order salted egg chicken with rice look very terrible, chicken very dry and just gave a little bit sauce. NOT NICE!

Although they wrote down our order, they do not follow the queue. Several times, they forgotten our orders. With the previous bad experience, we have to sit nearby closely monitor the queue. Last Fri, 5 other customers after us got their orders first. Later we found that they have forgotten our order !!! The food taste normal but slightly more expensive. Not worth the wait.

Packed fried rice and 三捞河粉 earlier this year in first quarter 2021 and today we packed 青龙菜and Kale to supplement our soup dinner. Back to packing in again due to 2021 enhanced heightened C19 restrictions this May - June. No more onsite dining till 13 June. The stall operator is friendly. Its quite popular too. The vegetables taste good. We empathise with our food stall operators and hawkers as they have to go through another challenging month(s) ahead. We remember them and will support them. 27 June packed dinner Tried the lala. Quite nice.
