People who read this and are looking for an interior designer, short and sweet, I have to say straight away call and ask for Thackeray Tan at Space Atelier. You will never regret that! At the first meet-up, he did a deep discussion to understand our requirements. And the same time he asked so many things to understand our lifestyle. Everything he understood from us was extremely well integrated to our house which makes living here much enjoyable and really convenient. He spent more than 3 hours just to understand and prepare the plan as per my requirements. I was really impressed at the first meeting itself because he drew everything which I had in my mind. Some ID’s reject few of my ideas and said, since this is HDB, we cannot do a lot of changes; we must do it without changing the current house that much. But Thackeray went beyond and above! He thinks a lot, draw, erase, think again, draw, erase draw again. Guys, believe me he did it as if he is designing his own house. Another thing I want to highlight is that he is very concerned about the budget. If my requirement is expensive, he was good enough to explain it to me and try to suggest some alternative ideas for a fare budget. Thackeray’s all the work are well arranged and clean. So we didn’t have any miscommunication during our renovation. He delivered everything on schedule except for carpentry, which was a reasonable delay due to the pandemic. Material wise, he always suggests the best and durable. Space Atelier showroom also got so many things to touch and feel before deciding. And he was kind enough to buy and fix small items on behalf of me. In the entire journey he advises us how to buy things and where to buy things. Still, they are open if we need to get some specific work done from a place/ person of our preference. They never push us to do everything only from their supplier. During my journey with them, what I realised is that their main goal is to build what I wanted with the best quality to make me satisfied. Unlike many IDs in the market, It was never their intention just to take money from the customer. And I want to thank all the other staff who helped with the background work to make my own house. Without your help, Thackeray and I wouldn’t have been able to do all the work this smooth.

Visited Space Atelier’s showroom and was impressed with their workmanship and service by Alex Eh. Alex attended to my queries and managed to oversee my renovation journey. Pleasantly surprised all went well including handover timeline. Kudos to Alex for a job well done ???

While we initially had reservations working with Alex and Space Atelier in general due to some of the less-than-positive online reviews, we are glad we gave them a chance. We had a great experience working with the ID, Alex. He was professional, attentive, and listened to our wants and needs. We were constantly kept abreast of what was being done in our home. Alex impressed us by keeping to the 2-week timeline. Given the current situation, this was no mean feat. Thank you, Alex and team, for the excellent job and at such remarkable speed. We are extremely pleased with the work done.
