Nice decorations, food was adequate in variety, portions and taste for the weekend high tea. Nice place for gathering. However the seating can be cramped if more than 5 pax on the L shaped sofas. Overall, this cafe n buffet is OK for the price paid.

This is probably the most worth it buffet I have tried so far. For $42++ per person (promo price) and free flow Sri Lankan crab, it's really really wroth it. Besides crab, they have other seafood although the variety isn't very good. The value is in the free flow made to order crab AND not only is it free flow, the taste of the sauces are VERY NICE. I have tried many chilli crabs at buffets but this by far is really the best of all buffets! The salted egg yolk crab and black pepper crab was also very good! Definitely a place to visit.

Excited with the buffet offers, all the food is awesome! Especially for the seafood at raw section for serving all sashimis and oysters! They have the durian served in a small glass cup and taste very good!

Had one of the best peranakan buffet ever at Spices Cafe! For the wide array of sedaplicious nonya cuisine and comfortable ambience, it was certainly reasonably priced! Delighted to see so many senior citizens enjoying themselves too. The live performances by Bibiks and Babas uplifted the entire dining experience!

Ate the buffet dinner Harvest of the sea. Saw online ratings from food bloggers with all the rave, was expecting a 5 star experience. But no. Host only came and ask us what we want after 20mins. The special item looks normal . The suppose free flow crab. Only order once. BecUse it take 30mins. And it was the most disappointing crabs I have ever eaten. It’s dry and Super not fresh. The plating also terrible .

You will have a wonderful dinner here. There a lots of typical food/ seafood / soup/ desserts / fruits & vegetables which are well-prepared with good taste and appearance. Moreover, you can choose the complementary such as lobster with cheese, fogra liver and crabs fired in signature sauces.

After reading my review you may find it odd that I give a high ratings despite what I experienced. I myself am conflicted at my own review score to be honest. For the most part it was a fantastic dinner time and experience. Great services by all the staffs. Food was good, decent selection, free flow crabs cooked to order in 3 ways, though not the largest and most varied in terms of buffet, good ambience. Our attendant was well and very appreciative and tended to our orders very well. What would juxtapose such great initial experience would come later, mired by one bad taste, literally. The grill station's oysters weren't fresh, they tasted bad and my mom felt unwell after having that one grilled oyster. I had one too and it tasted terrible, not exactly rancid but its certainly bad, keep in mind this is after we had several shucked raw oysters from the seafood stand, and we felt perfectly fine and loved the freshness of the oysters there. So theres certainly a disparity between the oysters on the seafood station and the ones used in the grill station. After this oyster she stopped eating the main dishes and settled for fruits. After having our dinner and leaving the establishment my mom threw up abit at the streets, luckily it did not get any worse. But she certainly felt unwell after that one oyster. It was genuinely a worrying moment for me at that time. I am truly glad it did not get worse. Such a grave issue should have lowered and tanked the review score, and would be justified. And yet I wish to believe that this is one truly unfortunate singular case, and not the the regular norm that represents the establishment's quality. From the images I posted, you can see the grilled oysters in question at the very last image.

At last open after 3 years? My friend forgotten to turn up Dine ...Alone naturally As usual .. Rita...Very good service
