Café One O - 181 Orchard Rd

Ordered the lunch set with an additional ordering of the pancake as dessert but the pancake came out tasting like it has been left out for really long. A very bad experience considering that I was expecting good pancake since the name of the restaurant is called Happy Pancake. Also, the soup that came with the set menu was very salty... However, staff was pretty friendly. Still, would not visit this restaurant again..

Staff is friendly. It's a cafe with a charitable cause. Pancake is good. Had their truffle fries and prawn as well. Good place to hang out with your friends.

Prices were reasonable and what's remarkable is net proceeds goes to charity (children from financially disadvantaged background). I salute the boss.

Nice cosy place for a touch down for lunch or drink. Impeccable service by staff and owner. Set meal prices are consider very reasonable for a cafe within orchard area. $8 for a set meal. Salad, main course and fruit. Clean environment.

Some things I like about the place is that it is quiet. Tucked away in a rather obscure corner, it is easily missed compared to more exciting eateries in the building. Their menu seems to have been reduced since the last time I visited about 2 years ago. Still, the green curry spaghetti packed quite a punch

Their Thai basil rice is so good! Lunch set is so affordable too. A hidden find in the midst of Orchard.

Cafe One O is not only right at the top of Orchard Central on the 10th floor ? It is tucked away within what looks like the building management office. ? A small inconspicuous sign at the front door hints of the cafe existence. As we enter the front door, we still weren't too sure if we were in the right place. ? Along the way in, we walk past a music studio ? and an art gallery ? - that's why we were still unsure ? It wasn't until the right turn and at the end of the pathway that we spotted the cafe.? This cafe is part of The Rice Company, a charity that provides art programmes to the underprivileged - that explains the music studio and art gallery! ? The cafe is one way they sustain themselves. Leasing the music studio and event spaces is the other way. Speaking to the staff, COVID-19 has not been kind to them. ? As we finally settled, we ordered - Teriyaki Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries ?? - Pesto Chicken with Fries ?? Call us bias but we really couldn't find fault with the food, especially after knowing that proceeds goes towards a good cause. Food was served quickly and the service friendly. If you are looking for a really quiet place to meet up, this is it! The ambience is pleasantly serene - giving credit to the art gallery ☺️ Giving this a 5 star review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because we love its mission and why not? Always happy to support a good cause ☺️✌️

Attentive staff. Very reasonably priced and delicious food! With the lunch offer, we got a free dessert. My kids and I enjoyed our meal very much.
