The nurse here are friendly, mostly for rehab elderly. Do note that electrical plug are payable for usage. Place have a dining area downstairs. No limitation of number of visitors unlike CGH.

The F&B was superb after i feedback on the food. Staffs and management are customer centric driven. Really thanks to all the staffs in ward5.

My mom stayed there 3 separate times (2- to 6-week stay each time) over a span of 2 years. Sadly, she passed away lately at their "Violet" Ward (specially done up for those in their last days as I understood it to be). I visited mom almost daily; my heavy heart was comforted by the tender care and support the hospital rendered day by day. Besides the flexible visiting hours, well ventilated spaces and serene atmosphere, they have the most attentive and caring doctors/staffs/therapists. Beyond words and a heart full of gratitude...

The service from the nurses and staff workers is very good but the food for the patients is poor, very bland, tasteless.

I am so disappointed with some of the nurses here at Ward 8. I thought that by coming back here the 2nd time, their service would have improved, but alas, it isnt. Not all nurses are bad apples but there are a few. These so called nurses tend to be argumentative rather than reflective. They need to be retrained and relearned how to manage and handle criticism from patients and their families. I realized that there is no room for discussion even for some of the management level people as they also tend to behave in an authoratative & high handed manner. Sigh.... I had no choice but to be under their mercy.. it is really a mental & emotional torture & distress for me and my husband. The community hospital committee should look into this matter. On a side note, I actually didnt want to give this hospital even one star but there is no option for this. Compliments are given to some of these healthcare providers like Joyce, Kelvin, Raymond, Saw to name a few. You guys make our day.
