★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the newest art center in Singapore, covering lots of information about various type of traditional performing arts in the region. The building itself is quite nice and the center did a nice job on restoring it. Outdoor space is great too with lots of area to chill (if weather permits), while am not a big fan of the art market, its a bit random.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located near to Sim Lim Square and quite opposite to Sri Krishna temple, this is nice place where all the cultural and traditional events and shows happen. My daughter has given an song performance with an Singing institution over here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Refurbished traditional Singapore building repurposed as an arts center. Tends to offer rotating shows, exhibitions, workshops, many focused on local culture. Current exhibition is an interesting multimedia presentation - essentially a 3D movie covering local cultures and the importance of dance in each culture. I have also seen photography, local sustainable crafts and jewelry, and performance here. It's a good stop if you are in the area checking out Objectifs, National Design Center, and galleries at NAFA, all within a few blocks walk.
