★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being a senior citizen and wanting to learn basic mandarin in a class instead of online, I find the chinese teacher Ms Julie is patient,understanding and caring towards the students mostly sr citizens...I appreciate her wanting us to understand each page as we go along.
I am so glad I chose stanford language centre.

Always ready to assist with my queries and ensured my hectic schedule could make it for the classes enrolled.
Teacher was also very patient and possessed great sense of humor.
Overall i am very happy to learn with the centre.

They use same quality material like other Chinese courses.
They focus on listening/speaking instead of reading/writing, which makes it very useful and fun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently completed 10 lessons of Vietnamese for Beginners. My class was fortunate to have Cô Vân (Teacher Vanessa) as our teacher. She is passionate and patient in teaching and sharing her native language and culture. Overall, I had a good experience with Stanford Language Centre.
I look forward to taking the next level of Vietnamese.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had completed my level 1 Vietnamese class which was taught by Teacher Vanessa. I had enjoyed all of her lessons as it was interactive as well as interesting. She is also friendly, patience and helpful. She prepared her lessons well and put in extra effort and time in guiding us.
