Starbucks - University Town

Very unpleasant and almost feel attacked. The staff was not properly standing in front of the counter thing so I was confused whether she’s the one going to take my order. So I asked her ‘can I order?’ I ordered cranberries oatmeal cookie but she asked me 3 times what I’m ordering as if my voice was too quite or she cannot understand me or I don’t know. Anyway, I’m very sure that my voice was loud enough. Although my order was not finished and without asking me do i need something else, she just turned around from me so I had to find a good timing to let her know I have another thing to order. When I finally ordered Ruby Red Grape, she asked me ‘do you want hot?’ i was like wt?? Suddenly a guy came to take my order. Then everything went from terrible to okay. She really could’ve asked me it would be better to make my voice louder or whatever instead of irritating me by keep asking.

Cashier was awesome and kind even though there was a long queue. However, Barista that served the drinks was so rude. She almost just threw the drink across the table and was disgruntled when asked for the reuse-able cup which she forgot to give me when I got the drink. Really dampening the mood for Starbucks 50th anniversary...

The Starbucks has quite a large air-conditioned seating space inside — good for discussions over coffee. It offers the usual range of food and beverages as other Starbucks elsewhere.

Thoroughly disappointed upon receiving my cake order. Cake was broken into 3 parts and very unapppetising in the box. I’m not sure why the picture isn’t uploading, but this was a huge disappointment.

The best place to hangout in NUS, especially after the latest renovation. Another addition to the limited edition Starbucks nitro cold brew at this outlet. Very sure to meet friends and mutual friends (if you are a student) when you are hanging around this area. Aircon and non-aircon areas for studying and just relaxing. Expect students to just simply “reserve” their seats by placing their bags/books/papers on the table nearing the exam period. But do not be shy to chuck them aside if you are sure that they have been gone for more than half an hour (although the official time is only 15mins). It will be fully packed during exam periods so you will need to go earlier to get a seat. The best part is that this place is open 24H during the school term and it’s just perfect to hang till late, especially for students staying in halls. Loads of power points here, unlike how stingy it can be at the Starbucks outlets off campus, and the staff here are generally nice.

nice place to study at, 24hrs, very quiet, free wifi and endless plugs! one of the only few Starbucks outlets that on all power switches for students to charge laptop during COVID

Located in NUS UTown, this Starbucks outlet is opened for 24 hours daily! The menu are generally the same as compared to other Starbucks but you can get Nitro Cold Brew here. And if you are planning to study here during exam period, do try to come early as the place will be swarmed by students!

Not the best customer experience , a waiter which was a tall guy, took my order and was unfriendly. As a guest to NUS, I saw that they had free WiFi but required a code. I asked him if he was aware of it and his reply was cold and unpleasant. The service could have been better given the service at other outlets were of standard. Still rating it 2 stars because of the food which did not disappoint!
