★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The architect together with URA has really poor design, you cannot expect to get to the other side of the platform without exiting the flap barriers and u will be charged... Sorry u better resign ur job as an engineer

It is a walkable distance from the MOE Sports & CCA HQ. The escalator leading down is quite long, but the walls are adorned with simplistic but pretty mosaic-like designs. Pretty peaceful station, not a lot of people. It is also very sleek and clean, as expected from a Downtown Line station.
What's special about this station is that the train platform is right past the MRT gantry. Normally, after tapping past the gantry, one would have to take another escalator down before reaching the train platform, so this was a refreshing commuting experience especially for someone who almost never travels to the other side of the DTL.
