I really enjoyed the bow selection process and Rita was so patient and helpful by sharing so many tips! I like how she customised the selection process based on your skill level, your needs and her experience. Though I was only looking for a bow, Rita also gave me tips on my violin’s set up and suggestions on how I can improve on my playing. Would highly recommend Rita and Stradivari Strings to everyone, will definitely be back again!?

So far violin classes have been fun. She has also allowed me the chance to try her different violins and bows. She is definitely very knowledgeable and passionate about violin which makes learning exciting!

Teacher Rita helped me greatly in the selection of my first string instrument and asissted me to try and compare factory-made cello versus hand-made cellos and bows which are suitable for my level. I would recommend anyone who is new to bowed string instruments to consult her for advice on purchase as her violin and cello shop offers a wide range for selection. I also started adult cello lessons with cello coach Rita. She is an experienced and accomplished music teacher who is strict as she wants me to pick up the right technique and build good foundation from the start. She tries to get the interest going by getting me to start playing simple scores.

During the selection of violin and bow, I was completely uncertain of what and how to choose. I really appreciate Ms Rita's explanation and recommendation on a few variation of violins based on my learning objective. I decided on a suitable violin based on its tone quality while keeping within my budget. During weekly violin classes, Rita is very patient and encouraging to guide me through music theory and rhythm playing despite my lack of confidence. It's fun and motivating to hear my progress each lesson, and to understand the importance of music theory in my playing. I look forward to my weekly adult violin lessons.
