It has been a year since my house renovation is completed. Overall I think it is okay, the quotation is considered expensive. I like the quality and workmanship of the carpentry and the tiles. The discussion went well and smooth at first, we were quick to give them response and confirmation too. However, the completion was overdue for 3 weeks, and it was after we kept chasing them for progress. Things I won't recommend: 1) They charged me several hundreds of dollars for 'Chemical cleaning' to remove stubborn dirt on the tiles, which I couldn't see effect at all as there were unremovable stains remained. 2) Another couple hundreds of dollars for 'Floor Protection' , to which I discovered it was just a few pieces of used cardboard boxes on the floor to protect my tiles. Hence, there were stretches on my glossy tiles due to such poor floor protection. 3) In addition, they did not wrap up my main wooden door which resulted in damages & scratches on the door. They simply use black marker to shade off the parts where it has been peel off due to poor handling. 4) Quoted more than $1400 to paint the entire house. The painter didn't put protective sheet on the floor, there were so many stains that we spent hours to remove them. Also, they did not put tapes along the corner to paint a nice straight line. Had them coming over to fix the lines but it looked the same. 5) The ID told us that we did not need to sign the contract before the work began, but didn't inform us upfront about all the additional cost till everything was completed. When the final quotation was presented, it was $4000 more than the initial quotation. Fast forward to a year later, we start to see that our lamps are dropping out because they didn't fix it in place properly. Our fan was shaking vigorously because they didn't secure the fan tight enough. Paid another $70 for them to fix the fan, the volume became much lower and it was almost no wind. I would recommend the carpentry work and that's pretty much it. For the installation, painting and miscellaneous items, you can skip it.

Worked with Paul for my reno which some ID would have just ignored due to the low amount of work required. But Paul was responsive and delivered quality work on time and within our budget. Both myself and my husband were very happy with what he had done for our house and we would be happy to recommend him and ID work studio to anyone. Please keep up the good work!

It was great working with CK from ID Work Studio. We were working on a tight timeline and budget. CK had provided us his professional advise to allow us to work within our budget. He had also assist us to solve some problems during our move to the new office, giving us valuable advise. This had been a great help that we manage to solve the problem and settle down quickly in our new office.

Even i was overseas and my renovation work was carrying on very smoothly and timly. Everything we envision was well communicated and spot on, plus it exceeded beyond our expectations. From time to time, we were constantly informed and updated on any issues or progress leaving no room for doubt at any point of time.
