[UPDATE as of 21 Oct] The company reached out and sent another ID, Sean, to look at the issues mentioned below. They informed us that Hazel is no longer working there and acknowledged the lack in quality of the painting and that the cabinet shelves measurements are incorrect which causes it to fall. They agreed to rectify the issues regarding the cabinets and re-paint the walls. Overall, Sean and Marcus seems more trustworthy and I appreciate that they followed up with this review and is willing to fix things. [POSTED on 16 Oct] Extremely disappointed with the entire process. Our ID (Hazel) was full of empty promises and lacks proper project management skill. Started renovation 2nd week of December 2020, and only completed handover in end March 2021. (FYI, we only renovated the kitchen). Initially trusted her when she said they’ve got manpower and could meet our timeline of 4 weeks for kitchen renovation (to complete before CNY). Throughout the process, we had to chase for updates almost every night and it seems like nothing was coordinated properly. She is not proactive in updating us which ended up my husband wasting 4 days of annual leave just waiting around for contractors to come by. It seems like most of the scheduling were reactive with no proper coordination. Painting of the house was so slow as they only had 1 person to paint the entire 5-room flat. Hazel also said people will help shift the heavy furniture but because they only sent 1 person, my daughters had to help shift the heavy furniture in the end. Worst of all, the painter only started painting the 2nd coat at 6pm hence we had to wait for hours for the walls to dry and smell to go away before we could sleep. Also, the paint jobs were poorly done with old blu tacks painted over. The company did compensate for the delay by giving us a discount of $1k but to our surprise, because of the discount, Hazel now is now unresponsive and said our 2 years warranty is voided (which was not discussed prior). It's been about 8 months since handover, and our kitchen island shelves are falling apart (see picture; ID is still unresponsive), and we have a couple of chipped out wood on the cabinet. Overall, it’s a VERY STRESSFUL AND UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. TIP FOR THOSE ENGAGING THEM: Make sure everything is noted down in black and white. Understand that most conversation might be via WhatsApp, so would be good to take screenshots as they can delete WhatsApp messages to side their claim.

Engaged KI to renovate a 4 room resale flat which was in a rather bad condition. Had 5 quotations from different ID companies and KI provided the most reasonable and fair prices. Haz Pang was the ID in charge. The whole experience was smoother than I had expected. There will surely be hiccups along the way and 1 thing I'm impressed with Haz is that she will definitely get the things done right for you (even follow up after completion). Very responsive and responsible ID. Whatever you need to do for your new home, she will try her best to make it happen. Overall, I'm glad that I engaged Kingsley after hearing many other renovation horrors from people I know.

It has been a pleasant experience engaging Kingsley for the renovation of my room. They are professional and knowledgeable. Took care of all the logistical needs and i don’t really have to worry about materials, production and all other nitty gritty issues. I enjoyed chatting with them and definitely engage them again in the future. Key thing is a Peace of mind. Thank you for your help and we appreciate your assistance.

Thank you Kingsley Interior for designing my house. Throughout the process, i actually argued with my wife about some design on certain areas but i am glad that Marcus actually step in and suggested a win win situation solution for us! Overall, he is very patient and experience and always around the clock when we need his advise or assistance. I would say this is a really memorable experience for me and my wife and definitely i will recommend my friends and relatives to engage them in future.

I had Eddy right from the start of my renovation and at the very first moment I felt that things are in good hands. He had managed the contractors appropriately and timely rectify the issues that have been identified. More often than not, he provides valuable suggestions about how the design should be changed which are indeed better solutions than what I have in mind. It has been a great pleasure to have Eddy as my ID and I have already recommended my friends who wishes to renovate their homes to him.
