Great night at SugarHall. Attended by CJ. The drinks were great and for rum lover, you will be spoilt for choice. Didnt have the chance to try their food menu. I highly recommend their Mango Colada. That is gem

Stepping into a nondescript alley, right beside Rosemead and look for their original signboard before going up the flight of stairs leading you into a bustling yet classy English-style bar. Other than returning crowd favourite Dark & Stormy ($24) that poses an intense estery fruitiness, my favourite will be the H&M Sour ($24), a gin sour accentuated with sencha, hazelnut liqueur, and matcha. Polished off the delicious cocktail while partaking in the creamy smooth Chicken Liver Toast ($8) with caramelised onion relish or take a bite of the Sweet-Sour Glazed Fried Chicken ($29)

One of the better cocktail bars in sg! A bit of steep prices but you get solid cocktails. Bartenders are star quality ? a worthy opponent with acclaimed Jigger and Pony in my humble opinion

Ambiance: 3 Drinks: 5 Food: 2 Service:1 We are a huge fan of this restaurant group, and we literally were at Sugarhall the last night they operated at their old location. How times have changed. If you’re looking for a chill rum bar to spend your Friday evening, look elsewhere. Even with a reservation, you’re on the clock here. They let us order a third round of drinks, then after our drink order was in, the hostess informed us that we had to release our table 10 minutes later due to an upcoming reservation. We blew $300 here and literally shot our last cocktails. We would have spent more time and $$ if they hadn’t kicked us out. Not sure if this is a Sugarhall thing or a Singapore thing, but at the very least they could have extended us the courtesy of kicking us out before we blew another $50 on what became our last round. The manager addressed us and apologized for their terrible reservation system and proceeded to confirm that we had to leave the table. He tried explaining why some other tables were there well beyond our 2-hour limit, but I don’t need complex algorithms on a Friday night… just good customer service and a good time. We had already closed out before he offered trying to find us another table. Needless to say we’ll never be back. As long as we have decent experiences at Caffe Fernet and Gibson we will continue to patron those spots, but I hope flipping tables and booting loyal customers isn’t a habit the other locations will adopt.

Hands down, the best rum bar I've ever been to. The service, ambiance and the cocktails were supremely awesome. Must try - Daiquiri, Espresso Martini and Old Fashioned. I tried the Mango Colada and it had an interesting take, perhaps too thick for me but recommend giving it a go because it does brighten up your palette. We didn't try too much of the food, but I do recommend the Olives and Roasted Almonds. The ambiance was really well thought of. It reminded me of Barbary Coast, but this place felt more like a bar and with the music, the conversations flowing around, it seemed a place that you wanted to indulge in on a Friday evening. Definitely a place where I'll go back to and spend more time, experimenting the full menu of cocktails and food!

As I can now work in the office most of the time, I was finding a bar with happy hours to go hang out after work, then I found this place. They are offering quite a great deal of cocktails during happy hours (5.30-7.00 pm). A glass of cocktail is $14 during the HH. There are not many options though. This time I didn’t try any signature cocktails, maybe I’ll come back and try next time. If you’re hungry, you won’t be full here ? Their food are mostly bar bites.

Popped by for drinks after dinner downstairs. Place is perfectly lit, making it cozy and romantic. It's a Rum based bar and the drinks were great! We sat by the bar so service was great too. Great to visit if you're in the area or you love rum.

Had a lovely time at this bar. The happy hour is great and I love my daiquiri and old fashioned. The food was awesome too .. I loved the curry puff and the chicken liver on toast. Great ambiance too. Will be a part of the regular rotation.
