β β β β β Quite disappointing over time. Used to be quite excited and pleased with the food when I first moved to this area 3 years back. Unfortunately over the years, standard has dropped a lot. Less customers now. Poor service even when itβs not crowded, now with the digital menu and QR code to order, platform is slow, clashes and not user friendly. I think what matters more is the food standard has dropped so much, yet the price is not cheap, furthermore with GST charging. Veggies old and not fresh. Fish noodle at some other hawker is even better than here. Food is still edible, but not fantastic, just a old brand name but has lost its flavour. Overall experience is quite disappointing. Hope owner look into it and bring back the good old taste.

β β β β β Came back after a year of lockdown. However was very disappointed with the standards. The signature curry fish head was tasteless and watery. Not spicy nor a bit salty. Even a side dish taufu was not tasty. Just blend. The only saving grace was the desert else it will be 1 star.

β β β β β For those who like their curry lemak, you will definitely fall in love with Sum Kee's curry fish head. The gravy is fragrant and perfect with a big bowl of rice. Their fish head was kinda on the small side though. My suggestion is to perhaps order two if you have more than 4 pax dining.

δΊΊιΈ‘ is essentially popcorn chicken with salted egg sauce. I would have preferred either a stronger flavoured or more sauce to go with the bite-sized chicken. Not a big fan of this.
I am not a big fan of pumpkin but their tofu in pumpkin sauce was surprisingly tasty with a subtle earthy sweet flavour.
As with all tzi char restaurants, Sum Kee has its fair share of hits and misses. It can get terribly crowded and noisy during mealtimes but it is great in terms of price and quality of food for big family gatherings.

Quite a vintage style Chinese restaurant, come here by car will be more convenient; they have their private parking area too.
Laohe portion was big , then the rest of the food was yummy; and bcos of Chu7 shop had prepare TangYuan for us too.

β β β β β Glad to be back again after some time. We came here for CNY work team lunch few years back. Tonight we ordered dinner online and picked up at 630pm after our evening run.
The mango prawn salad in deep fried wrap is a wonderful surprise. Yummy.

The standard was back to what I experienced in the past - but I only had the beef hor fun and crab Meat soup. The hor fun had wok hei and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Will have to try more of their dishes to judge if they returned back to previous standards.

β β β β β Ordered takeaway via the website. Really convenient and easy. Food was kept warm and ready for pick up when I arrived. All the dishes ordered were delicious especially the braised duck, ultraman chicken, pork leg beehoon and pumpkin tofu. Some unique dishes there. When I arrived to do pickup, many tables occupied with people eating happily. Certainly a good indication of quality and value.
