★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We patronised this stall at Vivo. The egg for the noodle was not fried egg but 蛋花! Unlike that in the pic n at Tiong Bahru Plaza.
And the 爆爆玉米粒 was soggy when first arrived, returned it to kitchen n come back still soggy. Got to reject second round n was finally told that they will redo it, it was finally crispy when it came to us in the third round. V disappointed cos the dish that we tasted in China was real good.
Overall, the ingredients like fish n rice r of good quality. So conclusion is the cook must improve to match the quality at other branches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you can have spicy and chilli laced food, then this is the place for you. Mala food as they say in chinese, menu is pretty elaborate but known for its grilled fish. You can try request the server for less spicy and chilli. Highly recommended !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are 4types of fish u can choose. The flavour also alot to choose. We had the green pepper flavour. The taste nice. It had more flavour if compared Tanyu.. the side dishes need to add on but the amount given is quite a lot..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the sea bass but somehow got a muddy taste like a fresh water fish. The fish sauce was too cold even after the fire burned out it did not boil, was only warm. Chicken looks raw, when I asked the waiter he said they triple processed it which is marinade, fry then microwave..... Microwave food in the restaurant ?. The beef was supposed to be stir fried but was saucey and felt more like microwave food too. The standard here is very different from other Riverside grilled fish outlets I tried. Will not come this outlet again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s has been a long time our family has queued 1 hour for dinner (probably becoz it’s Sat and CNY is just 2 weeks away), and this time the food at Riverside Grilled fish did not disappoint. The chilled garlic pork really stimulates our appetite. The Patin fish was fresh and the non spicy fragrant sauce was thick with right amount of saltiness. Good spiciness in the claypot tofu, though kids may not like it. Overall a comfortable dinning experience, with much customer service.
