β β β β β Excellent service with warmth and friendliness of the staff. Had the Michelin celebratory menu. Favorites were the double boiled treasures soup and the dessert of snow swallow in almond cream. There were fresh cordyceps flowers, welk, dried scallops, goji and mushrooms in soup. Signature fried rice was flavourful and non greasy.

β β β β β Had the fortune set for dinner, love the bird nest soup. Very tasty and generous portion. However the fish fried noodle is a bit bit disappointing. Service is definitely Michelin star standard.

β β β β β Summerβs food has always been hot favourite for many. Service wise could have improve from a few staff that I have send feedback and glad that Summer Operation manager is willing to take note and reply. Hope to see improvement for Summer palace when I am back. Food is tasty and as usual, ε€ε倫!

β β β β β I felt a strong urge to post a review as the service of the staff here was impeccable. Even their Executive Chef Liu was friendly to us and even offered longevity buns when he knew it was my husband's birthday. To put things in perspective, we were late for our lunch and by the time we finished our food, it was past 2.30pm so I was really surprised that the Chef didn't mind to walk back into the kitchen again despite it was already his break time. I think Summer Palace is very down to earth and they should get 2 Michelin Stars.

β β β β β Went during CNY period so I can't say the food was at its best (hence only 4 stars instead of the expected 5). But what we tried was overall delicious. Recommend: passion fruit prawn, seafood fried rice and roast duck. Venison was cooked well but the asparagus that went with it could have been cooked a minute more for it to really absorb the flavours. Service and ambience was fantastic!

β β β β β Had a great Friday anniversary dinner at Summer Palace by ordering the Michelin Celebratory Set Dinner for 2 pax. The starters and soup are in particular impressive. Service provided was excellent, especially Allan who was servicing our table. Chinese tea was refilled promptly. Set dinner pricing was reasonable for the quality of food. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

β β β β β Food was well-executed and especially liked the soup with the birds nest. The crocodile meat was quite unique and the XO flavour really made the dish very palatable. Beef was tender. Really liked the crispy soft shell crab. the frog leg could do with more flavour but the meat was well done. Duck was also good. Fried rice would have been better with slightly more salt. Desserts were not too sweet and it was a nice end to the meal. The staff were also very helpful in helping us to takeaway the dishes that we couldnβt finish.

β β β β β The food here was really good-what you expect from a Michelin star restaurant. Service here is attentive and friendly as well.
I really enjoyed the deluxe set meal-there was a really good variety of dishes which we could not finish, and each dish is done well with a bit of tweaks from the original.
Standout for me was the soon hock fish, it was steamed to perfection and the sauce was light. Many places slightly over steam fish and make it more chewy, but each bite of the fish here was soft and perfect really. The skill level of the chefs are good.
Would come again.
