Good variety of cold, hot and fresh food. Suggest to roll out different items every day on a weekly rotation basis. Suggested items to be added: waffles, cakes, kaya jam (for toast), soft boiled eggs, light desserts, etc. There are always long queues in front of coffee machines.

Weekend high tea buffet promo was worth it! Most importantly, all of the staff were friendly and polite :) would be better if they had more variety of beverages for people who don't take coffee or tea.

Service staff was excellent during our meal here! Made us feel at home. Food selection could have been improved but overall tasted good

Went for the lobster rock and roll buffet on Wed... Unfortunately, the lobsters failed to impress as the texture of the boston lobsters were as hard as rock... The slippery lobsters (grilled ones and black pepper) tasted pretty good and saved the day! Should have considered larger sized slipper lobsters though, to better appreciate the flavor of the dish... The highlights were on their non-lobster dishes however... The tender angus beef, durian pengat, fresh salmon sashimi, laksa (albeit on the sweet side?) and dessert selection are impressive! I am looking forward to coming again to taste the buffet on non-lobster day...!

Went for the Sunday high tea lunch buffet. Variety was simple and limited but for about $50 (after added +++) per pax these days, I think it is reasonable. I liked that it was not crowded and service was good. Crab however was not chilli crab so tasted rather 'awful'. We were not allowed to mk our own rojak and server's rojak mix was rather bland. Durian pengat was good. No sashimi or scallops. 1 car park redemption per table only. All in all, a nice and quiet place for a meal with friends.

Went for the lobster rock and roll buffet on 9th March with a few colleagues. As the name goes, the lobsters were the highlight. The lobster thermidor, butter grilled and chilli lobster were tasty and fresh. The salmon sashimi were thickly cut unlike the puny slices u get most of the time at other hotel buffets. Now for the long list of bad. Few of the lobster dishes were concentrated at one corner where you need to queue to get them. In the beginning, I was quickly served. As the lobsters run out, the queues start to form. This buffet was not started yesterday but the lack of preparation is painfully clear to see. Each round of lobsters took long time to be served and everyone on the queue were being forced to be rationed 2 a piece each time. All customers are paying 98++ for this buffet only to be treated like refugees? The lobsters on ice were not replendished after 8pm. Most of the other dishes at other counters were already empty at that time and took more than 30 minutes to be replendished. The service was also woefully inadequate. There was a very clear manpower shortage and the waiters were mostly young and inexperienced ( once i was served all lobster heads for the kam heong and black pepper versions which had no meat at all) Several times I had to clear the plates myself when it started piling up on my table. All in all, a terrible experience not befitting a hotel from Shang-ri la group. Will not come again.

The one restaurant in Singapore that serves a very extensive lobster buffet. Been here 3 times already. Have a great variety of lobster dishes including lobster bisque. But the rest of the varieties of food is not a lot though. One great thing about the buffet is, it comes with fresh fruit juices. Goes well with the lobster dishes. And great to end off with a coffee or tea which is also inclusive.

I was expecting a buffet when I came here, but they only served Set Dinner ( $68++ for 2 pax )on the day I visited. Staff was very friendly, and told us the restaurant was closed for almost two years because the hotel was used to quarantine. They just reopened last month, and Buffet was only served on every Wednesday and Friday. Food was good, especially for caramel nut tart. Would definitely come back to try their seafood buffet next time.
