This place has a wide range of hardware and all kinds of odds and ends that you need to fix up your home. In the plumbing section, there are different adaptors for different kinds of faucets. This is heaven!

Being there a few times and bought some stuff. Frankly speaking the guys are generally OK. Except for the ladies who are rude and blunt at times. Especially the curly hair one which maybe the boss. The last time was the final straw when i was comparing which screws to buy, she blurted, "look look for what! The difference is so small!" Will not patronise the shop again.

Rude as hell. Heard them scolded and senior man asking for how to use the tools. Once I asked the permed hair Chinese older woman at counter for a pipe tool. She showed me where it is, I asked her how much. It was too pricier than Clementi shops. So I said never mind, next thing, she tossed the tool hard back into the box right infront of my face, rolled eyes and walked away. The burmist cashier is just the same, once I bought a $3 tool and gave her $10 and she gave me $8 change. So I returned her back $1, I said it’s $3 product. She simply yelled. “YEAH YEAH YEAH it’s $3!” No thanks nothing. I would definitely go to other places and so do you.

Never look down on your neighbourhood hardware store :-) It's a mantra I live by having managed to find anything and everything in theses stores. Yet among the many hardware stores, some stand out and Sun Hee has really been the definitive go-to store for me. It's a little out of the way for me (15 mins drive) but I'm happy to do it, and I've come here several dozens of time in the last 20 years. I've bought the weirdest stuff (cement, concrete aggregate, wiring, kerosene, all sorts of electrical components, bulbs, toilet hardware and hoses, faucet hoses, washers, screws, L-brackets, wallpaper ---the list is endless). And I also appreciate that they allow me to swap the occasional mistakes that I make (wrong size, wrong colour) without a complaint. And the staff are very helpful and very knowledgeable.

Very helpful and kind staff. He knew exactly where to find the items I was looking for. The first one he pointed to was a bit expensive (good quality), so I told him that it was going to be a one-time use, and asked him if there was anything cheaper. He understood my situation and showed me the cheaper alternative. Would definitely recommend coming to this hardware store ??

has good variety of stuff generally.. agree that some of it's staff are not customer oriented and are sulky etc. there are helpful staff too. however, one incident left a bad taste. I bought an item where the bar code, item name and price states $36.90. the receipt - I was charged $41. went back to the shop to enquire... cashier pointed at the male boss without entertaining me or addressing the customer politely, and said "ask him". I asked about the price discrepancy. he checked the system. and said the system says is $41. looked at another female staff who looks like the female boss and said "she never update the price". and I was easily dismissed. wow. it's not even a few cents difference but few dollars. Unfortunately I can't send it back for exchange as my contractor has installed the item already. too bad. but this will be the last time I'm patronizing them. Other shops are usually very honest, will acknowledge their mistakes and endorse the price tag that customer sees or find a middle ground to make sure the customer don't feel too shortchanged. But it seems that here, I'm invisible as a customer in a self centered shop. I'm still giving them one more star for the quality of products they have in store generally. but buyers beware. check receipts carefully!
