The best Japan Home Store I ever visited. Lots of varieties for selection.

Some interesting cheap things for the kitchen, including corner steel shelving, silicon covers, and some reasonable pots and fryers. Some appliances, kitchen and electrical, some containers and bins, and they recently started selling super cheap snacks. Snickers bars for fifty cents. A mix of everything, including bulk cheappie tissue paper. Not a daiso or a dollar store, but still, good place to spend your disposable income.

Bought a box of masks (which was recommended by the staff), only to go home and realise it was defected. Straps kept coming off. Brought it back to the store, unfortunately I no longer had the receipt so they did not refund. They offered an exchange for another box of defective masks instead, and their solutuon was to use a stapler to fix the broken straps. What was disappointing was the attitude of the staff, who became rude and defensive upon our questioning of why they're selling the masks despite the defects - "how would we know, it's the manufacturer's fault". Surely we can't be the only customers who have come back with this feedback - any store with the right integrity would stop selling the masks instead of pushing these masks to unsuspecting customers at a discounted rate. Or the least they could do is to give customers a heads up that there are some defects.

I've been to many Japan Home outlets, this is my favourite store. It's spacious, well displayed & has a good array of products. & with helpful sales people too. Good ambience in a cosy shopping mall with many eateries, supermarkets DIY store, near BV MRT Station.

This is one of their bigger outlets. Spent more than half hour in there, slow going up down the aisles, browsing the merchandise. If you are looking for larger storage such as drawer units, trolleys, self assembly cabinets, it's a good chance you can find them here.

Lots of cheep stuff so a great place to get those odd bits you forgot to pack. Has all the adaptor plugs. Just need more than one person on the till during busy time.

would have given 4 stars as the store is quite big and has various home items worth looking into. But the 1 star is given to the arrogant, skinny elderly staff with short hair who : 1. Added one extra item by mistake without even checking 2. Keyed in the wrong price and even argued that the item was priced WRONGLY ON THE DISPLAY ( SEE PHOTO) 3. Totalled the items wrongly and ROLLED HER EYES AT me when I asked her politely to check . I had to show her picture evidence of the price displayed and even had to teach her simple maths : $2+$2.50+$2.50 = $7 And since they are hvg the promo 3 items at 20% discount which works out to $5.60. I asked her again that even if the $2-item IS INDEED $2.50 as she claimed ,even without the 20% discount , the total of all items should be $7.50 - LESS THAN $7.60 which she wanted to charge me ! Finally - she was still showing her higher-than-thou attitude - she checked the register and realised she keyed in an extra item and in fact overcharged me but SHE STILL SAID SHE WAS RIGHT! Yeah right ... No apology Until I told her off that she was being very rude and unprofessional. She then blurted out an Unapologetic 'sorry lor!' Wow your store is called Japan Home but displays NOTHING of the fantastic Japanese service . The arrogant staff's name should be the one printed on the receipt shown in the picture.
