My family are Peranakan and we cook. My Mum's Birthday hence both of us went there to celebrate. The service is good by 2 staff (Malay and Chinese gentleman). Cosy and 3 Tables filled for dinner. Among the buffet food what we feel is only nice is the Beef Rendang, Char Kway Teow, Fruit Rojak and Curry Fish. Some dishes are salty and we can't finish them. Do support them if are not particular. I like The Peranakan claymore food more.

Really so happy to eat here. For the price of their buffet, one can't really complain about the limited options-they are mostly well-executed. Fruit Rojak was a small, sensible portion of apple, turnip, pineapple and a mildly spicy prawn paste. Babi Pongteh was generous, the meat was soft with braised mushrooms but a pity it was a little on the salty side. Satay Babi was amazingly tender and served in a rich, fragrant peanut sauce. Very nice! I also enjoyed all the vegetable options. Ikan goreng was fried but not dry and I skipped the other seafood options. Pulut Hitam was warm, fresh and came with a generous topping of creamy coconut milk. Service was great, with charming uncles who were attentive and friendly. They really make you feel at home. Overall, the place is very chilled and laidback on a weekday afternoon. My only issue was that the dishes can be on the salty side. Hope the chefs can adjust their recipes and go easy on the salt.

Worth it for price point. Need to be selective on dishes. Recommend: ngoh Huang, crackers, pig stomach soup (gingery), sambal brinjal, nonya chap chye, curry chicken, ayam pamggang, beef rendang, nonya kueh

Buffet food so so only. Prawns not fresh. Fish cold and hard. Food all gets served one shot so turned cold fast. Not ideal. Totally different standard from their takeaway.

It's not good, especially when you are talking about buffet in hotels. Frankly, if 1-for-1 promotion means you've to compromise and sacrifice on food quality, then I rather you not do the promotion. The possibly only 3 dishes that can pass were the beef rendang, the babi pontay and the laksa. But they are still not fantastic, just passed and ok. The entire buffet have more 'bad' and 'good'... Let me do a countdown based on my experience - 1. The staff (though friendly) behaving like their in an usual coffee shop - speaking loudly to each other across the room and LOUDLY reminding some guests about their masks... (roll eyes!) 2. The fried fish is simply HORRIBLE! Hard, dry and tasteless! One bite and I know I'm not gonna eat it. 3. The Pig Stomach Soup is supposed to be a delicacy... But instead, better called it PEPPER soup! I can't taste anything except for tonnes of pepper (which became spicier than the sambal chilli on the buffet table!) 4. The prawns were definitely NOT FRESH! Mushy and soft. 5. The satay sauce for the tohu goreng was blend. I can't smell/taste the fragrant of the peanuts... 6. The desserts are not exactly 'appetizing' as they look like they were bought from heartland confectionaries. (Oh, pardon me - which may actually taste better than what's on the table!) Overall, it's a disappointment and 'disaster'! How could you pick up your business in this way?? My total bill was $56.70 (It's 1-for-1 promotion) and I told my friend after billing - Luckily it's 1-for-1, I wouldn't pay this amount for just one person! It feels like a scam! I'll not go back again.

The most terrible hotel food I ever ate.. Only the chendol dessert tasted good..Shrimps and coconut rice just tasted regular... but rest of the dishes are awful. How can a chef even sabotage stir fried veggies?? Hawker food is far better than this. I gave 3 stars though because waiters are hardworking and served well. But for food, 1 or 2 stars maximum.
