Not what it used to be at their previous location. Food is still good but the buffalo wings definitely used to be better.

Eating out in Singapore alone is depressing. You have to jostle with everyone else to get a seat and when you do, you can't split yourself up to chope the table and order simultaneously. At hawker centres, one end up roaming back and forth looking to scalp a corner seat, quickly wolf down whatever is ordered and get the hell out. So I looked forward to him coming to Singapore. That gives me the opportunity to take him out to discover the Singaporean food scene. Things I have always wanted to try but never did (on my own). And finally to enjoy his dining company and the food. Sunset Grill was on top of my list because so much have been mentioned by so many friends. Having dinner here is like being in an improv theatre. That night when we were there, this group of friends was sitting right across us and they made the bold attempt to finish 12 wings between the 3 guys at the off-menu hotness level. The 4 others chickened out (pun unintended). Whilst we were sweating away at our level 1's they were huffing and puffing their way through level 35's. One could not talk, one ended up looking faint and the last person was sweating profusely, we could see their girlfriend's worry break through the make-up. We both ended up highly entertained as we cheered them on. Many say that Singapore is boring. But I beg to differ. Fun is what you make of the situation. Him and me, we do the most boring stuff. We eat, watch movies, shop, gym & swim and after he leaves for home, work. But everytime I was with him, somehow there is always a new sensation, a new experience and a new story to tell. Unfortunately, the story with him has ended for now.

Food is so-so but the price is unreasonably high. If you want to try the level 35 super hot chicken wing, it is a $8/pc. I was wondering why would anyone wants to pay so much just to torture themselves.? U could do the same by eating some chili padi at home for a few cents. Save yourselves some $$$ and gave to someone in need.

Hi guys. As you can see, Sunset Grill and Pub is open again at new bigger brighter location. 1030 Sembawang Road. Same great menu with the famous buffalo wings with spiciness level of zero to 35 for the extreme Chili heads. Come and try. Get your name and photo in lights on our Chili heads hall of fame. But be warned, level 35 is only for the craziest Chili lovers.

I took the spicy chicken wing challenge here. Very hit, but the flavor was not good. It was obviously extract instead of peppers. Still, this place has very friendly staff and a nice ambiance. Prices are a bit high.

Staff are warm and friendly. Buffalo wings are good albeit slightly expensive. Nice and quiet place to hang out at night.

The Spicy buffalo wings challenge at level 35 was crazy. But its a MUST try. Staff were really warm and friendly.
