★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coach Alvin was professional, humorous and patient during all lessons. He taught me how to swim one of the strokes i have been struggling with in 2 lessons and I became more confident to float and swim on my own after first few lessons. A school where the head coaches and coaches are deeply passionate in teaching your kids the right swimming skills with reasonable lesson prices. Location of pool at Nordcom 1 Lvl 10 is spacious with small class size ratios. They also assign coaches at your convenience if possible, to be at your condominium pool to teach your kids as well. Coaches are all experienced and qualified and undergo sharing sessions and trainings regularly to be updated. Highly recommended if you want your child to have a good swimming foundation and be confident in swimming. Thank you! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My review on their swimming lessons in Sembawang - We are very fortunate to have found a swim school near home and a coach who has been so patient with my girls!
Been with them since July 2021, and they have improved from the first lesson where they were so scared and didn’t even enter the water, till now where they are able to swim independently.
I’m very thankful to Teacher Jin Cheng who always make every lesson fun and enjoyable yet enriching at the same time for my girls!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our girl has been learning with Coach Alvin, followed by Coach Clarissa for awhile now. They are really patient, passionate and professional when it comes to teaching the kids. Coach Alvin is firm with the kids yet also knows how to make the lessons enjoyable for them. Coach Clarissa also gives regular updates regarding my girl’s progress and in what way she can further improve. I am very glad to have enrolled my girl with a reliable and trustable swim school. Thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son has been learning with them for about a year at our condo pool. Coach Nigel is very patient and good with kids. Initially, my boy was really afraid of water and hesitant to go in. However, after the 1st lesson, he was so comfortable in water and kept pestering me to bring him to down to the pool after. I appreciate the effort put in by coach and the school to update the parents after class as well. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My child learns swimming with coach Ivan, who is very patient with kids. He is very encouraging and helped my child overcome the fear of deep water. Lessons are planned and structured, albeit slow for the young starters (we can understand learning to swim is a journey), but assuring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Teacher Ivan is an encouraging, patient and passionate teacher who make swimming so fun and enjoyable for my 7 years old boy. He have helped my child to build his water confidence and he looks forward to attending every lesson. No fuss from him when he hears "lets go for swimming lessons!"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boys started their lesson with Swimwerks in Feb 2021 and progress was slow. There wasn't milestone checks and the lessons were not engaging for young learners. There were lesson disruptions in between due to covid restrictions, no fault of Swimwerks.
Responses from the management are usually slower; have observed this from class chat and experienced it myself. It was only when I told Alvin, the director, that I want to pull my boys out then he decided to contact me, almost immediately. The reasons he gave were, my boys are afraid to be in water and due to lesson disruptions. When I asked for further updates after Alvin said he will get back to me, there wasn't and I had to ask again. So I gave up.
From my observations for the past year,
(a) lessons are not engaging
(b) coach can be too harsh (why... why you cannot....). My elder boy lost confidence in water eventually
(c) within the same year, a 4 year old boy has quit the lesson and the made the coach has also made another girl cried
(d) a boy who can swim is usually left to swim on his own, with minimal guidance on what's right/ wrong
Coach is definitely competent but more suitable for older kids. I have to emphasis that this is my own observation and personal experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enquired thru their Facebook page, within few minutes, Sheryl replied to my PM. Arrange to Went down to Swimwerks’s office to find out more details. Met Sheryl n Terence whom r super friendly, explained every single details to me. Could tell their passion to teach young kids. Coach Ken was appointed to teach my son, a very patient and responsible coach. My son liked him a lot, and he enjoyed every swimming session with Coach Ken. Highly recommended if you are looking for a team of passionate coaches to teach your kids! A dedicated team! Thumbs up ????
