β β β β β Nice cosy little outlet in Hougang heartland! Delicious food! Try the Mentaiko Tamago, the 6 pcs Sushi platter and be amazed! The Gyoza and skewers are also a must!

Aburi mentai tamago, squid karaage, somen, tiger prawn, pork cutlet curry rice, chicken skewers and mugicha.
My dinner companion loved the food; and she's more discerning than I am. The squid karaage had just the right touch of peppers. The somen was chewy (not soggy). And the prawn was divine (ed. she loves prawns). I enjoyed the pork cutlet with curry.
The place was cozy, and just great for a late dinner.
The staff obligingly refilled our mugicha, and didn't rush us to finish, even though they already were closing for the day.

Clean, fast and hassle free. Worthy lunch deal of only $8.90 for soba salad with chunky Tonkatsu. Great value place and easy to get tasty Japanese lunch

β β β β β Fantastic izakaya food. Star of the meal was the deceivingly plain and simple somen. Even my muse β not a fan of cold dish β adored it, and even fought with me over the last bite!
The yakitori sauce was on the sweeter side, and Iβm not a fan of anything sweet and savory (it confuses my palate). But if youβre good with it, go for it!

β β β β β Very reasonable price. I canβt say the food is 5 stars but fairly good enough for me. Service staffs are however really helpful and friendly. Will return to eat again.

β β β β β The set lunch is good value for money suitable for mid-small eaters, also an invitation to order more sides for sharing. Food taste good though some time is needed for preparation. Wished that the beer is ice-cold.
