Very serene, calm place. Inside decor is very colonial and unique. Set menu allows you to taste quite a number of dishes as portion size is manageable. Steamed seabass, Apple roll, Spring rolls are recommended. Staff is very humble and attentive. Only disappointment in the menu was very limited variety of beers. Overall, worth a visit.

Gorgeous place that made me for a moment thought i was in Bali or some resort in Thailand. Love the decor and ambience. I didnt take any photos of the food as it was a business dinner. The food is okay but honestly, quite pricey. Strongly recommend to go if you wanna impress your date or bring overseas guest. Other than that I don't think I will be going there anytime soon!

Came for wedding venue recce hence the immense no. of photos? The moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by the smell of the incense & oils. Together with the light music, lush greenery all around, with the zen-buddhist-thai interior & aircon - it gave a very relaxed, Bali holiday vibe. Upon entry it feels like a living room with long tables & sofa chairs. The bar & dining area had a more professional restaurant vibe. The outdoor seating was really pretty with a pocket view of the sea. The whole place has a very laid back, calm & peaceful vibe. As for the food - it was good, but pricey. Loved their Tom Yam soup as it was full of mushrooms, seafood, meat & vegetables. Super good portions. The Tom Yam soup, beef curry & scallion & garlic fried rice were served in big bowls so the photos below are the serving bowl. Loved their fried rice too except for the crispy-fried garlic bits that kept sticking to my teeth? Had their mocktails too - but I remember my Honeydew You was super bland. I told the waiter & she robotically replied that the barista wouldn't know if the fruit he'd cut & served was sweet or not. I had to ask them to add syrup. This was the only minus point portion for me. Apart from that, it was all good. Sadly, we won't be having our wedding here as the venue is too sparsely distributed and we need to set up 4-5 projector screens in order for everyone to watch the videos & stuff. Great place to just have a meal though ??

Such a quiet and relaxing place. Thailand traditional decoration, I prefer outside seat but came for dinner, so there might be mosquitoes. Hope to come back in the daytime cause it was a nice view. The service was excellent. Food was served in huge portions. May come back again.

Tamarind Hall Vegetarian food availability: 3 stars Good buffet and worth of the price. We were vegetarian so we asked them to substitute meat for veggies. They agreed luckily. The waiter was really nice and amiable. The food was good too. I really loved the corn cakes and spring rolls it was crispy and juicy on the inside. It was like biting into heaven. The soup was well seasoned with various herbs. I really loved the various rice and the flavours it held. Finally, the dessert was extremely good. I loved the pink diamond. The ice cream melted in your mouth and the water chestnut was crispy. A perfect combination. However, they don’t really pick up your calls and when we went there it was pretty empty too. So, I think they should improve on that. Overall, a good ambiance and food.

Very quiet and cozy place to dine in with friends or family. Enjoy the ambience very much for the whole night. All food are delicious except the deep fried pork chop. The tomyum soup taste very authentic too.

Celebrated my birthday in advance here on a Friday night. Chose this place on the strength of its Google reviews as well as the old world charm it exudes. Ambience and food are excellent, and service is good. Portions are huge, so if you are small eaters (not us though ☺️), do order fewer dishes. They delighted me with a complimentary Birthday dessert which is a very nice touch. The only not so positive thing I have to say is that they served our last 3 dishes at one go. In this time and age where we like to take pictures of our foods first, we felt a rush to take pics & savour the food ☺️ I would make a mental note to ask their service staff to serve our dishes slower so that we can enjoy a more leisurely dining experience next time I’m here.

Everything about this place is great. Authentic Thai food. So delicious. From the Tum yum soup right to the dessert. Had a free drink for me girl friend who was celebrating her birthday!! Very thoughtful and excellent service. Live it!!
